(Any chance Lucky can add SA to balance it out? As I'm standing there face to errrr... faces? with a bunch of grubs? How did that happen? Bud judgement on my part! :D)
Lucky blinks, wondering at his inability to read the little halfling's intent and trying to work out how he got in the thick of the fighting, alone. What am I doing? I'm no bruiser! Leave the fighting to those best suited to dealing with it, Lucky! Mind you, who is best suited? Where is this group's knight in shining armour from Furyondy or half-orc reject from the Horned Society? Well, it certainly isn't going to be me! Slashing forward Lucky tries to finish off the last of the squirming, putrid grubs before they crawl over him.
Attack: 7 Damage: 7 Sneak Attack if allowed: 4 extra damage on a hit
Lucky is swarmed with the few remaining grubs. He slashes frantically at them as they try to chew through his shirt, but is only just able to dislodge them.
Everyone else may act, starting with Kelnan, Reed, Katernin, and Fianna.
Fianna, still dealing the the effects of being scared by the voice, is still pressed up against a wall well away from the grubs. Though she is still able to target some that are not actually on Lucky and again use her Eldritch Blast Attack: 7 Damage: 10
Fortunately, Lucky manages to quickly scrape off the attacking grubs with his knife. Unfortunately, Fianna's crackling beam just misses the dislodged worms.
Everyone else may act: Kelnan, Reed, Katernin, and Molo.
The stinking corpse appears to be bug-free, now, at least. The plate mail it wore is quite banged up, but still appears to be serviceable (and would fit any Medium creature who can bear its weight.) The longsword and the shield seem to be in good condition. A pack lay under the corpse.
The tiniest crack of light appears, at least from certain angles, from the southeast corner, where Lucky found a hidden, sliding panel.
Shoulder-height wooden bottle racks line the north and west walls of this old wine cellar. There appear to be no intact bottles left in the racks, and shattered bottles cover the floor. Against the east wall, at the foot of the stairs next to Lucky, rest two large metal storage bins that appear to be empty.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Lucky will sign in relief. "Thanks everyone, I thought I was grub-food for a moment then." He slides his dagger away into its sheath and will take his glasses out and pop them on his head. "Time for a thorough search of the room before we open the secret door?"
Molo will pat Lucky on the back and whisper “you are lucky.” Although perhaps a bit unclear if it’s just repeating his name, or telling him he has good fortune, Lucky may feel inspired. (feel free to roll a d6 on your investigation check?)
Lucky circles the room slowly with his scaly, sparkly glasses, peering up and down the racks, bins, and walls, his face just inches away.
He finds one full bottle of wine deep underneath a rack, its label bearing the image of a jauntily dressed unicorn. Other than that, he finds nothing else of note.
Lucky, smiles a big, open smile to the little kobold. "That's me!" Listen to me, I'm talking with a kobold. Who'd have thought it?
"The room is clear as far as I can tell, nothing of interest other than this bottle of wine," he says, tossing the bottle to Reed. "Perhaps we should open the door?" Stepping backwards he lets someone else, brave, open the door.
(did Lucky find a catch or knob to open the door? Or does he think it just slides sideways?)
The secret door is crudely hinged on the left (east)- a very primitive, makeshift-looking mechanism. It looks like it can swing in either direction. Lucky spots something else - another fresh boot print on the floor near the door, similar to the ones he carefully followed down the stairs. Somebody passed through this secret door within the last few hours.
The blood-stained bag slides out cleanly - it was only strapped to one arm. The top of the pack is open. Inside Fianna sees a bedroll, some torches, and a number of other things. (Do you want to dig through it or dump it out for a full inventory?)
((I believe Fianna is still under the fear effects, so she'd kind of dump it at an arms length, not wanting to touch the bloodstained thing more than she need to.))

Fianna will, slowly and timidly, approach the body and try to tug the pack out from under it...

Fianna nervously dumps the pack out at arm's length. It contains a bedroll, a mess kit, a tinderbox, and ten torches.
Katernin approaches Fianna, "Hey, everything's alright, okay?" she says with a smile. "We're all here for you. No reason to be afraid anymore."
