Evi stays put in the cart as the others confront Orden, keeping an eye out for any suspicious reactions.

Orden looks absolutely dumbfounded. "Stones? That's not right." He says blankly. He thinks for a minute on what you all said, about strange creatures and disappeared merchants. "I'm certainly not trying to get you killed, I care about the safety of my village. Without those supplies, we'll take a big hit here. We may be able to recover, but we'll need aid from Vinanathi fast. Now I'll have to send someone down there." He begins to walk away, but turns around with a curious look on his face. "What did these 'strange creatures' look like?" He asks.

"they were minions of Knurath." he seems torn. he looks at the group "I have been to Vinanathi, but I dont trust him"

Kallista narrows her eyes, trying to determine if Orden is lying. "Two of them were small, bug-like. About this tall." She holds out a hand to demonstrate. "The other was big, had wings and a fish head."

You can tell that Orden's reaction is genuine. He has no clue about any of this except for what you're telling him.

"Knurath? He's back?" Orden asks, perhaps a little loudly. Gasps and whispers can be heard inside the walls, and Orden looks like he knows the mistake he just made. "If this is true, things may be about to take a dark turn. The world isn't ready for his atrocities again. Even if you don't go to Vinanathi to help us, go there to warn everyone that he has returned. Find Frilis Longbeard. He has studied Knurath and his minions intently, and he could take things over from here." Orden says, desperately trying to get you to help.

"What do ya need from Vinanathi, town keeper? If we're ta head that way, we may as well kill two birds with the one arrow," Orimdal pats one of the horses attached to the carriage. "We've commandeered the fiends' carriage here. Do ya mind if we take a couple o' the horses ta pull it?" He looks around at the group, "We should be able ta fit in it, but the animals would help us get ta Vinanathi all the faster."

"Yes of course, by all means. The quicker you could get there the better. This is all so troubling." Orden says. "We were to receive two crates of food, one crate of farming soil, to crates of common clothes, and 10 sacks of trade goods. If you could get that for us, we would be in your debt."

Orimdal nods, making a note of the required goods, "Are these goods already paid fer? Or are ya expectin' us ta foot that bill fer ya?"

"We have a long-standing agreement that the first shipment we receive from them in a month is unpaid for." Orden says. "This is the first one we will receive this month, so there is no compensation necessary."

Orimdal nods, "'Haps a letter ta say that we're collectin' goods as such might be in order." He turns to the others, "I am up fer a bit o' a jaunt ta Vinanathi. Would anyone else care ta join me? If yer in need o' anythin' 'fore we go, we can stock up."

(OOC - I'd already added the carriage into my inventory from before, but I've also added in the two horses to my extras to track them.)

"Well," Tender says thoughtfully, though if one were to look close enough they might find a bit of an excited gleam to her eyes, "I'd be happy to join you, Orimdal. I've never been to Vinanathi before." And she couldn't say she wasn't eager to see more of the world, to find out more about the little mystery that had been dropped onto them. She's always loved a good mystery, after all.

"Right, I'll get that letter right away." Orden says. He runs off, disappearing into the building he took you to earlier, where you got the horses. A minute or two, maybe three, but probably not four, later he returns and hands you a note in scribbled but intelligible handwriting. It explains that you six are envoys of Splintfork, sent to retrieve the supplies they were supposed to receive but didn't due to unforseen circumstances. "Right, there you go. I can't thank you all enough for doing this for us." Orden says, tears starting to form in the corners of his eyes.

 "I'll come along as well,"  Evi adds.  Though not particularly fond of the jungle, she did have an overall good experience when she passed through the region.  Pausing for a moment she adds,  "Which tribe would we be dealing with?" secretly hoping that this trip might take her past the tribe she had stayed with for a bit.

Fletcher nods "count me in. I can't let you guys go without supervision" he winks at tender "besides, you would be distracted by daydreaming about me"

Tender grins at the wink, snorting in amusement. "Oh terribly distracted," she agrees. 

"Frilis is with the magic tribe. You should be able to find him in the first town of their's you come across, where our supplies should also be. If not, he'll probably be in the capital." Orden says.

Kallista, realizing she's the only one who hasn't agreed to go yet, heaves a sigh. "Fine. Not like I have anything better to do."
