"Huh, guess he ran off." Wakka notes  "Should we bother to chase after him?  He'll probably bring a whole pack of kobolds back with him if we don't."

"Not unexpected."  Cade says with a sigh.  "We actually never agreed to put the dragon back into a cage though, just to bring it back.  The fact that I would never allow the dragon to be caged again was just left out of the discussion."  He shrugs again and nods to the gnome.  "I'm sure we can find a way to carry the dragon's treasures..."  He glances to the others.  "Who has the most room in their pack?"

"I can take a decent amount" offers Wakka as he walks over to the pile to see what the dragon had collected.  

Investigation check to discern what items the dragon has: 7

(ooc: not sure how much treasure there is but I can carry about 40lbs before I'm encumbered)

“ I can quickly store all of it in a very safe place” Sylfyr adds whilst his ring flows slightly. “And we can kiss that key goodbye”

"Well that's handy,"  Wakka comments as he carefully makes his way over to the the dragon's treasure, making sure to keep it within his line of sight.  "And if we're going to miss out on that key, I'm sure there are other things just if not more valuable that'll pop up by helping the dragon out," He continues as he looks over the dragon's treasure a little greedily.

Then once the gnome tells the dragon that it will get its treasure back, Sylfyr will place as all of it in his pack. Then he will suddenly vanish, crumbling into earth which travels into the ring. After the ring has hit the floor and laid there for a moment, Sylfyr will suddenly reappear a bit out of breath. “I’m going to need a serious rest before I can get it back”

The dragon, that is eyeing Sylfyr, begins walking toward the door. The gnome says "He says he wants to get out of here as soon as possible." Then he pauses, "I don't think we've properly introduced, my name is Erky Timbers." Erky says.

"Ok, well we have a couple things to do down here before heading out."  Cade says, glancing from the gnome to the dragon and then back to the gnome.  "Does the dragon wish to come with us for those things or wait for us here?"

The gnome responds, after talking to the dragon a bit more, and says "He wants to come."

"Alright then, let's keep moving then before a horde of kobolds come down on us"

(sorry remind us if there are any doors in this room or if we need to go back to the previous junction point)

The is one other door to the east of the room.

Assuming everyone is ready to go, Wakka will walk to the remaining door on the opposite side of the room and test the knob to see if it's open (He'll open it if it is.)

Sylfyr is just behind Wakka

It can open, you open into a hallway, with a door on the south and north wall.

"Does the dragon have any ideas of where these passages lead?"  Cade asks the gnome.  Expecting it does not, he would glance to the others.  "Which door do you want to try first?"

"Eh, let's try the South door, if there's trouble ahead I'm sure it'll find us either way" Wakka shrugs in reply.  As they continue to move though the ruins, he'll make sure to keep an eye on the dragon to make sure it doesn't run off...or decide that the group is no longer its ally...

"South door it is then." Cade says and moves to it.  he will open it and lead the way through.

Before you get to the door a pit opens and drops you in, take 6 bludgeoning damage.

"Told you, trouble always finds a way to find you."  Wakka repeats to Cade as he extends a rope down to help him out of the pit.

Cade climbs out of the pit.
