When you dig up one of the graves, you find a man in a white robe decorated with black feathers on the shoulders. In light blue a symbol is where his heart would be. A inverted triangle with a line one the top with two branching line coming off of the line.
"Hm." Jedavii stares at the symbol for a second. "The symbol on his chest kinda looks like the ones that the bringers of woe people had, except the triangle's upside down and there's two extra lines there. Maybe we should check the other graves too, to see if they have that kind of symbol as well."
In the graves, you find a male dwarf dressed in artisan robes. In another grave is a human woman, she is wearing a black surcoat with the symbol of a red axe. The last grave is of a man in a black robe a armor made of stone, like the cultist in the sinkhole, with the same symbol as the bringers of woe.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Si might be on to something it could be a way to discern rank," Talvian says watching from over the shoulders of the other. Talvian will try to discern the cause of the death for the bodies.
Si turns to the farmer, “Do you recognize any of these corpses? Also, do you know where Summit Hall is?” Si looks the farmer in the eyes and observes him closely while he answers.
"What about that dwarf?" Jhazaal asks. "He appears to be one of the only ones without one of those symbols, but his clothing looks of higher quality..."
"He could be the more senior of the two with the triangle marks. And the one with the red axe mark seems to be different. Maybe they came to blows and finished each other off." Jedavii says, examining the bodies. "I'm not sure. We'll have to ask the people at the tower if they saw anything."
"Two dead by arrows while the other two died from from some blunt weapon," Talvian strokes his chin in thought, "Here is something I don't understand, why bury the bodies at all? I mean if you are going to drop them somewhere why not strip them of everything and leave them for the wilds to take. If it was out of respect then these four have a connection to at least one other person still living." Talvian starts to pace back and forth, "We have obvious signs of them being in a fight, but then the question is with who? if it was with each other then who buried them? Three of the four bodies have a symbol on them, one of which is just like those guys we fought in the sinkhole." Talvian stops pacing and turns to the others, "What if we went back to town to question those two Bringers of Woe that we captured? Maybe they know something about these bodies."
Oh, my god, I thought you were all Role-playing talking to each other. Sorry for the two day long wait.
The farmer looks at the symbols, “That one looks like the symbol of the Mirabar Army” he says pointing at the lady. “And Summit Hall is a day and a half walk away from here. You might want to pack more that what you have on you if you’re planning on going there.”
"Aye, thank you for the information. Could you tell us about the Mirabar Army? Si is thinking about Talvian's words. Perhaps it is best to question the two captives back in town. However, a journey to this Summit Hill seams to be in order soon.
"Where were the deligation we are looking into from again?" Jhazaal asks the others. (Do we know that they were from the same place as that warrior or not? What about the dwarf Jhazaal was interested in?)
The dwarf has no outstanding features except for the ones I already described. The man thinks for a bit “I believe they were heading to Summit Hall from Mirabar.”
"Hm. Yeah, we'll definitely have to look into Mirabar, and stock up for a trip to Summit Hall. We can talk to the Bringers of Woe while we're at it." Jedavii says. "Let's head back! Thank you sir!" he calls cheerfully to the man.
As you all are heading back, about halfway to Red Larch, you spot three men, one in armor, the others in robes. They fly on giant birds. And they are heading straight for you.

He helps to uncover the rest of the graves.
"Perhaps an insignia of rank?" Si ponders and he casually searches the body for anything else.
"Let's dig up some others."

The dwarf and the man in stone armor died from arrow wounds while woman and man in feathered died from crushing blows.

DM, I think we are waiting on feedback from you on the above...

"Yes thank you sir." Jhazaal says nodding to the shepherd. He would follow the others back to town.

(Do they have their weapons drawn or otherwise look hostile, or do they just look like they're looking for us?)
As the riders approach, if they are getting close, Si casts Guidance on Jedavii.
