(Ok, listen. I’m very sorry for being a terrible player. I’ve been thinking, and I’m gonna leave the campaign. The dm can keep my character in the party as an NPC or they can dispose of Sam as you see fit. I built the character wrong and didn’t make an effort to fix it enough, and I’ve been making way to many posts and have been enforcing myself on others. I’m so, so very sorry and I’m gonna leave now, I love all of your characters and hope that you all have a ton of fun in the rest of the campaign. I say again,I’m really sorry for being a horrible player.)

Sariel slaps Sam's hand away. "Leave me alone!" she grunts. "Th...thank you, Sam, for the kind offer" she says through clenched teeth. "But Mislynn already was good enough to address the pressing difficulty; I think I'm just going to need some time for long-lasting recovery."
(Evocation: OOC, how in game terms is this injury going to work? Persistent injuries are usually not how damage works RAW, but I get this was a special thing. But since healing to full didn't fix it, will 1 or more long rests? I don't want everybody wasting their spell slots on this thing, as much fun as the roleplaying is)
(OOC:well, if you splint it, and get a couple long rest, it will heal. I have lowered your speed and dashing will make you fall prone. If there are more questions, please PM me!)

Kotch makes sure he is the last to leap onto the rowboat, more out of keeping everyone at a distance mixed with not trusting the Dragonborn guiding them; in his mind this all seems a little too coincidental. "Watch out below!"

You don’t land in the rowboat and instead fall into the water below, I hope you can swim
For her part she shuffles to the opposite side of the rowboat and leans her weight against the other side, hoping to help to stabilize the boat when someone stronger reaches in to pull Kotch out.
(OOC: in game terms, I'd like to take a help action to give Kotch or whoever pulls him out advantage to get out of the water. Swimming in armor is hard.)
(Frick it I was overthinking and now I’m not, and I got my head on straight, what’s up nerds sam’s back in business and it’s only been like 3 seconds in game time, how convenient...)
”Well don’t refuse my services to quickly, my feelings might get hurt.” Sam says to Sariel, a sly look on his face. He then reaches over to help Kotch into the boat.

Kotch resurfaces from the smack into the water, a little dazed from the impact he suffered but no worse for wear. The cold of the sea gripping his body and pulling him from his dazed state. "COLD, SO VERY COLD" He yells as he grabs hold of Sam's outstretched hand, using the additional hold to pull himself aboard the rowboat and instantly looking at his sidearm. The powder is now wet, his weapon is useless.
"Thank you Kindly Sam." He stutters threw clattering teeth, doing his best to warm his extremities.

(I personally think you have been a great player, but if you would like to leave you can. And if that’s the case, I enjoyed being your DM)
(It was great playing with you. your character was great and hopefully you can find another campaign to play in soon. :) )
i also enjoyed your witty remarks
(I really didn’t feel like you forced yourself on us. I am sorry to see you go.)

Mislynn looks at the dragonborn and asks, “Where are we? How far is the closest harbor from here?”
“The closets would take one more day to get there, it’s by a hafling town, quite lovely if I do say so myself”
"Well, we are immeasurably grateful," Sariel says. "Every extra inch between me and that ship feels like a weight off my shoulders."
