Bitenose shrugs his shoulders and takes the front of the party. You walk for the rest of the night heading south through Neverwinter Wood, and eventually arrive at Phandalin by morning.

Einiwin stops in her tracks, "I can't deal with this anymore. There is too many violence going on. That doppelganger was unconscious and you brutally killed it." She shoots a look at Tagret.
She then turns to Gundren, "I escorted your wagon to this town, and then came and saved you from the the goblins. I believe that my fulfilled my obligation to you, and I will be on my way."
She then turns away from the rest of you heading off into town.
Bitenose stands around looking at the people of Phandalin shooting him looks at they pass by.
Gundren then turns to Tagret, "Let's go find Sildar. You mentioned that you managed to save him from a cave? He must be around here somewhere."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
“She does have a point Target, I don’t mind getting my hand dirty but, it was already unconscious. I know you and you’re people pride yourself on your strength but sometimes strength is be able to just walk away. Food for thought friend.” Damian says as they continue to walk and Eniwin goes her separate way Damian will see her off. “Good luck to you Eniwin, my Mordain bless you on your journey.”
As they begin walking down, seeing the stares directed at Bitenose “Worry not Bitenose, things are not set in stone. Though I’m sure you don’t care as long as you get paid. You have a friend for life.” Damian smiles, patting his back.

Tagret is a little confused and annoyed that the others don't appreciate the potential danger that the doppleganger could have placed them in and responds to Damian with barely a glance at Eniwin
"Do you really want something that can change its form to imitate someone else knowing we were the ones to rescue Gundren....you will get no apology from me for dealing with that threat"
"Gundren, Sildar was at the Stonehill Inn, but was also spending time at the Townmaster's Hall....why don't we go the Inn, grab some food and get cleaned up (I assume Gundren is a mess still) and then find him"

Saravena waves off Eniwin as she leaves before turning her attention to the late night sky, "I understand the idea behind killing the thing, I just think how you completely annihilated was a little over the top. A quick slit of the throat or a bolt through the head would have sufficed "
Saravena lets out a long sad sigh as she casts her gaze to the ground slumping her shoulders, "If only we had had more time there, I could have completely dissected it, collected who knows how many useful materials. I would have so loved to study that."
Saravena turns to Tagret, "Promise me next time we come across something as interesting as the doppelganger you won't turn the body into paste before I have time to collect useful pieces."
You begin to make your way down into Phandalin navigating the roads to Stonehill Inn. As you go, you notice that there seems to be more Redbrand members in town than there was previously. Each member stares at you as you pass by. The glares are unwelcoming and it is clear that they have no desire for you to be in Phanadlin.
After a relatively short walk you make it Stonehill Inn.
OOC: 485XP puts Tagret at Level 3....do you want us to make that adjustment, or wait until a long rest or some other natural break?
OOC: And also the intent of those multiple rolls was not to chop it up, but to provide enough hits to kill it....did not intent it to become a butchers shop....but at least it has provided some clarity on the morals of the group.
(Nah, you can progress to level 3, I would have done it after a long rest in Neverwinter Wood, but it makes sense to have you all on level before meeting Maerys.)

Gundren pushes the door open to the Stonehill Inn and you step inside. Inside you find a number of different faces turning to look at who has just entered the inn. Then you watch as they all glare at Bitenose. They are not too happy to see a goblin walking around their town and visiting their establishments, not after the trouble they have encountered with goblins. You look around the inn and see that most of the tables are already full, which seems odd for such an early time.
However, you do notice that there is one table just with a single occupant. An occupant, a woman half-elf, who so far has not paid any attention to you.

“The secret we should never let the gamemasters know is that they don't need any rules.” ― Gary Gygax
The half-elf woman, dressed in cream-colored robes with light blue and green trim, sips at a cocktail she got from the bar. A curved elvish dagger rests on her table, and once she sets down her glass next to it, she takes a sky blue hair tie from around her wrist and sets her shoulder-length auburn hair in a half-up, half-down style. She glances over at the commotion by the door, laying her eyes on the adventurers and sizing them up, along with their goblin companion; her right eye is blue, but the other a shimmering gold. She holds her stare for just a moment before returning to her drink, looking surreptitiously at the party now and again.
“Now, dear friends...” Damian stepping forward with Bitenose “I know what you all are thinking but Bitenose here is a changed man. He helped us rescue Gundren, and with out his insights it could have been a lot worse.” He gives Gundren a good pat on his shoulder “He know he’s done wrong but haven’t we all.” Walking to the bar “Now, let’s bygones be bygones and let’s celebrate. A round ale for everyone here and our new friend Bitenose.” Damian will pay up front grabbing two ales one for himself and one for Bitenose.
Looking around for a table Damian notices the lone Half Elf, seating at a table. Seeing the space Damian will walk up to her “Rounds on me if you want another drink. Mind if we sit?”

The half-elf raises an eyebrow at the man. "Hm... I suppose it would be rude to turn down one who performed such a kindness. Please, help yourselves," She replies, looking over the group once more. Her accent is recognizable to anyone well-traveled as the same a person from Waterdeep would boast. As they all sit, she looks them up and down. "You all showing up in here together sounds like the beginning of a bad joke. And you certainly don't look like locals. You all adventurers, then?" She asks, taking the dagger off the table and fastening it to her belt before taking a draw from her drink.
The barkeep charges Damian four silver pieces for a round of ale filled mugs. One be on the inn patron's approach the bar to grab a mug which they all drink down back in their seats.
Gundren, however, keeps an eye on Bitenose still not satisfied with the goblin's presence.
