"Good job! Well lets get them to a cell but make sure they don't have any weapons or tools. Maybe we should burn the cloaks. Symbolism you know. Course then again the cloaks are evidence of thuggery. You guys know of any other redbrands?"
"These red brands ain't that smart, makes it a whole lot easier" he replies, sheathing his axes and waiting for the others to search and disarm them before proceeding to lift one and drag the unconscious form into the town hall, taking care to check that Glasstaff and the others were still imprisoned just in case his suspicions of the town master were warranted.

"Bubbles the Barbarian" (Locathah - Lvl 9) - Locathah Rising; Shai'ere Delatete (Githyanki Monk - Lvl 9) Rrakkma (deceased - MindFlayer); Saros Rockfoot (Deep Gnome Diviner - Lvl 5) - The Lost Kenku & One Grung Above; Tagret (Goliath Barbarian - Lvl 2) - Tales of Faerun;
Rashana looks down disdainfully at the crumpled bodies, "A house made of paper will blow away in the wind, leaving only the foundations."
She returns her weapon to her back, then looks up, moving nearer the door, "We should investigate the ruins, and then question the one who betrayed Sildar. Having tasted that fruit once, the second bite will be easier."
Wrinkling her nose as she waits by the door, she seems to want to keep her distance from the unconscious bodies in the centre of the room. She contemplates for a few moments, before speaking again. "Does the mayor still fear the red-cloaked ones? If so, why?"
Tagret answers Misha's questions, shrugging his broad shoulders before he starts talking "A few things.....we were greeted with much interest from them when we first entered town, and when we went to Castle Cragmaw to rescue Gundren we became aware that the Red Brands have had dealings with the bugbear that proclaimed himself King, and specifically when we returned to town with Gundren, they attacked us without provocation. I reckon we must have disrupted their plans and they were trying take us out of the picture so to speak. From there we decided to take the fight straight to them and here we are, somewhat justified based on the note we took from Glasstaff......Saravena, anything to add?"
"No, I think you got it all Tagret," Saravena replies before thinking for a moment. "The townmaster always referred to them as mercenaries, but when I asked him why he did not send them out to deal with the orcs seen not far from here he just avoided the question. He said he had not asked them to, but the request is posted right outside here, so that is pretty much a bold-faced lie. From what we found the Redbrands probably just did not care or did not wish to spend the manpower. Other than that, it is just as Tagret said, we got their attention after we rescued Sildar and Gundren then they tried to take us out, and well you see how well that turned out for them."
"These two said they were the only Redbrand in the tavern," Saravena notes motioning to their two new captives."So, if there are any more, they are either out of town or somewhere we did not look in the manor. We might be able to have the nothic check the manor, but we will have to ask Glasstaff if there are any out of town."
Rashana nods, and looks at the unconscious forms on the floor, "Let Sildar decide. He may want the chance to dance alone with his betrayer and with the townmaster. Or he may want us at hand." She takes a deep breath and shrugs. "The ruins call, but can wait if necessary."
"I think we need to give attention to the woman we rescued. She is a local here right? Her testimony and the residents are the key to this Harbins compliance. Aren't governors elected?"
Rashana nods at Misha's suggestion, reluctantly helping him to get the prisoners into cells. When she is done, she looks at them and Glasstaff disdainfully one last time, then turns to Sildar. "Not all reeds are destined to grow straight. Some reflect the world around them, and some are flawed, yet all have uses."
"No rest for the brave it seems" Tagret says to no-one in particular as the others eagerly depart. Last to follow, Tagret does say to Sildar "Watch yourself....who knows what is really going on here in town, you might want to gather a few you trust to aid in keeping the peace for now"
He then exits and catches up to the others "How are we all faring - I confess I am feeling a little weary from the fighting this day, are we really to press on a investigate the manor fully?
Hearing Sildar's reply Saravena nods her head, "Hopefully Harbin is not giving you too much trouble with all of this, take care we will be back soon."
Joining the others and hearing Tagret's question Saravena opens and closes her hand a few times testing the muscles and joints, "If we can I would like to finish this as quickly as possible. I am not sure how long my formula will remain active in my system for, so I would rather get this done before it fades, but if everyone else needs more time I can make do without it."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Rashana, her face an impassive mask, proceeds warily. Stepping softly and walking in the shadows, her simple black robes make little sound. She keeps an eye out for others in town who might be redbrands, and as they near the ruins, she proceeds even more warily.
You carefully and methodically search the upper section of the manor that are above the surface of the low hillside. However, most of the manor up here has gone unused and lies in disarray. It seems that the Redbrand were barely in these parts of the castle as dust and covers everything. Although there is a clear trail of footprints leading from the main entrance to the trapdoor, which seems to be the only entrance into the basement below.

Rashana nods, "It is why we came."
As she searches, Rashana looks around the ruins, considering how livable they might be.
"Looks like just a few walls, great place for an ambush."
