OOC: we can hand wave that if we like—Kerric was hoping we might find more clues or another secret exit from the hideout since we didn’t get to explore all of it earlier.

With some pep in her step from her berry haul, Ebele would tag along with the others. She’d offer to help the best she could with the investigations.
(I know DM asked for individual rolls. But I’m going to be ‘that guy’ and ask: Can we trade help? Ie. I help Xalkas investigate, And he helps me perceive for example?

Reghys isn't too keen to return to the cave. Instead, they offer to speak with the constable again, to determine the delegation's route and maybe find out who else in town knew of their itinerary. Something about the weird rituals here smelt like a conspiracy to Reghys, and they just wanted to make sure they exhausted all sources of information before heading onwards.
Knocking at the butcher's door, Reghys inquires: "Is the constable here? I represent the Argent Alliance, we have some questions for him..."

"Good evening! More and more threads of our investigations in the strange happenings around here seem to implicate the missing delegation from Mirabar. I was wondering whether you could tell me what their intended route was, and who in town knew of their coming arrival and the route by which they would travel here. I'd also be interested to know who in town likes to spend time worshipping the moving stones. Your help in this would be extremely appreciated."

Kerric:
"Well, at least we found the back way in," says Kerric, heading to the inn and ordering his dinner. Listening to Reghys sing and overhearing the discussion of the murders, Kerric listens carefully to hear if there are any more indications about the cult of Black Earth or the Bringers of Woe.
