Xalkas would sidle up next to Ebele to get some of the berry cider. While flipping threw his book some more, searching it for bits and pieces of information that currently are escaping his memory. Once done looking at his book responds to Kerric, “Seems reasonable enough to me. I shall follow you ... so I don’t have to run after you later” he chides gently. Xalkas then begins pondering T'chal'fronack'zcinicker‘s suggestion about turning this cave network into a sort of base.
(Arcane recovery replenishing a 2nd lvl slot. Since Kerric used hit dice. Not sure how to properly tag that so it shows as a link)
"I don't mean to disagree with you all the time, but I see no reason why we couldn't make our base in the village of Red Larch. The people there are friendly, why would we shun them?"

After a pause of silence Ebele would speak up. "I share Reghys' sentiment for Red Larch. It's cozier." She'd offer to share her cider before adding. "But... I can see it as a base of operation for a brewery." She'd bob her eyebrows. "Imagine. Cave walls lined with kegs!" The monk would tap her nose and then point to no one in particular. She figured if T'chal'fronack'zucchinicker hadn't already though that far, he'd know where she'd be going with it. In all seriousness though, the temperature regulation in here would be fantastic...
"And I didn't share my thanks for the healing melody. Thank you." She'd tilt her head with a smile in the direction of their satyr.
Kerric would prefer to check the rest of the area for cultist activity before leaving, but he will defer to the others if they think that will take too long and possibly risk us missing the delegation.

Reghys is definitely itching to head back, but they are willing to stick around if the others believe it to be helpful.

Ebele would share the same thought of completing a full and complete sweep, for efficiency sake (don’t want to have to come back if we don’t have too), assuming they wouldn’t run the risk of missing the delegation. If there is fear of missing the delegation, and if that’s still of most importance, she’d go for heading back.

Xalkas agrees with searching the area more thoroughly, pointing out his intention to come back with some of the quarry workers to clear the blocked passage.

Reghys sees that the others want to make sure they all didn't miss anything else. There was some wisdom in that, and the satyr was soon excited by the possibility of finding something they hadn't before.

“Berries!” Ebele exclaims. There was a healthy ecosystem of berries, plants, small game and butterflies that excited the monk, for it provided a possible renewable source for harvesting for cider long term. Besides taking some time to smell the flowers, she would be ready to go.
Looking around the area Xalkas remarks, “This isn’t a natural rock for this area. See how different it is from the surrounding terrain. I can’t speak to where it came from, nor how it ended up here. But I tarry ... we should head back to Red Larch as it seems there’s nothing more we can do here for the moment.” With that Xalkas stands ready to head back to Red Larch.
On the journey back he walks next to Ebele and comments how suitable that area seemed to be for the production of berry cider, like hers.
