Aeneas looks Caradoc in the eyes, and then Moneo.

“What makes it so valuable? What exactly can it be used for?” Moneo asks. “Does it have any special properties? Or is it simply a very hardy material?” ((Insight 10))

"Anything touched by the gods can be used for magical purposes - for good or for ill - if combined with the right ingredients," he says knowingly. "But, listen. I was about to head out for the rest of the evening. So, is there anything else I can do for you?"

"My friend here, as well as I, were interested in what you had for sale I believe," replies Aeneas.  "For myself specifically I am mostly looking for lighter, quieter armor and weaponry.  I can look around though while Caradoc finishes his business."

"Ah," Neskaryn replies. "Unfortunately, I don't do armor. I don't mind the odd tailoring job every now and then, but I mostly deal in alchemy, and enchanting. If it's armor or weapons you're looking for, you're going to want to check Grigori's or the blacksmith."

..."Can you enchant weapons?"  Aeneas turns again.

"For the right price, I can. But, not tonight. As I mentioned before, I actually have a previous engagement that I must get to. Come back by tomorrow and we can talk more about it."

In case anybody was interested.

Aeneas nods, not sure if they'll be returning or not.

Okay, so - is the party headed to The Drunken Cyclopse?

Sure

The lot of you make your way back to the Drunken Cyclops. When you walk in, it's the beginning of dinner time. There isn't much of a crowd, but there are a couple of people more or less quietly conversing while eating and drinking. Demetrios, the bar and innkeeper greet you as you walk in, "Well, hello there! Cheers to the heroes of Tolou's Farm! Here," and he holds up a finger as he starts to walk back into the kitchen. A moment later, he returns with a tray and four three bowls of steaming hot stew with a side of fresh baked bread and four three pints of ale. "Here here, as I said before - free meals for a week. Come right over here." He leads you to an empty table and starts setting your food and drinks down.

“Ooo, we’re famous,” Caradoc sits and soaks up drinks and food.

Just for giggles, this is what the Drunken Cyclops looks like inside. (I can't remember if I've posted this or not, before. I also need to retcon the 4 of you since Damara is back at her home. So, it's just the 3 of you.)

Moneo smiles at Caradoc's comment. Normally, he would be beaming at the attention, but right now, after his experience at Grigori's, he is more looking to relax and try to just slough it off with some alcohol-induced numbness. 

"So," he says somewhat matter-of-factly, "we didn't do too badly, did we."

Aeneas watches Caradoc carefully and sniffs the food and drink.  He picks it up and swishes it around a bit, looking for any inconsistency.  ((I don't actually think we're being poisoned but... lol  Should I roll something?))

Seeing that Caradoc looks alright, he grabs the bread and dunks it into the stew. "We survived with few scratches if that's what you mean.  We need to exterminate those foul things."

Caradoc let’s a single loud “Ha! Exterminate? Sounds great, but might as well say you’re going to scoop up all the fish from the sea.”

Then he shrugs. “That said: yeah. This was good work.” He toasts them both.

Moneo smiles a bit at the two of his new compatriots, takes his bread and soaks up some of his stew before taking a big bite. "That reminds me," he says while chewing, "did I ever tell you the story of the time I fought for my life against a flock of albatrosses out at sea? It was a glorious battle..." He continues on regaling you with a story that you're almost positive is being largely embellished, but it's so entertaining, you just let him tell it.

You can roll investigation to see whether or not you can determine if you're being poisoned, or not. Even though this tavern is friendly towards humans, and neutral towards satyrs, given Grigori's behavior, you never know. It is certainly possible that someone would try.

Once Aeneas is finished with his meal, he wishes the other two a good night and heads to his room.  He washes up a bit, then sits quietly, allowing his thoughts to flow freely for Kruphix in prayer.  He'll meet up with the others in the morning after he does a quick, early workout.

Caradoc will stay up late, and head to bed with a belly full of food and booze.
