"Why dont we quit this quest and join a circus. With your music and Sinsil's parlour tricks, we would be a hit. Alkyn could be a knife thrower, and I could train baboons."
" Which I guess positions me as roustabout and baboon shit shoveller.", Ashanti grinned.
" Lets go rescue the baby wizard...its not like I have anything better to do."

“I will take responsibility for what I have done. [...] If must fall, I will rise each time a better man.” ― Brandon Sanderson, Oathbringer.
"Hmm," Six muses, "I think I should probably object to keep tigers on principle. Cat solidarity." He grins over at them, picking a jaunty circus-like tune on the lute. "As for the wizard," he adds, looking over Alkyn, "I have no interest in him beyond finding him. I am here to be Sinsil's meat shield."

" Well, as long as your not here to be her meat sword....", Ashanti chuckled.
Six also shudders at Ashanti's comment, his ears flattening against his head. He turns to make a disgusted face at her, picking an extremely discordant note on his lute.
"Your compliments aside. I like to be prepared for any situation and if a wizard went missing then there is a higher likelihood two wizards would go missing." (Mobile)
You continue to canter along the road, the weather continuing fine and pleasant. As your horses eat up the miles, the neat farms and pastures giving way to rolling grassland. Following the road, it will take you between 4 and 5 days to arrive in Talonstadt. Can someone roll me a d12 for the first day?
I mean, it’s not a one. You ride undisturbed for several hours, until the light begins to fade. Eventually, it looks like time find a place to stop, or keep going and risk exhaustion. The terrain is the same open rolling grassland, with the odd clump of bushes and trees to break up the monotony.
"I'll take second, then," Six volunteers, grateful for the chance to be off the horse for a while and rest. "Do you need help getting firewood? I'm happy to do so."
Is there a source of water that can be seen ahead, or recently passed?
When this query is made Ashanti gathers all the waterskins, containers close and a hums a deep low level tone to herself as she fills every available object with 10 gallons of fresh cool water.

Sinsil shudders visibly at Ashanti's comment... Why? You'll never know
Alkyn glances from the gnome to the tall Tabaxi, "Not a big job then." he says with a smile.
"Though I do imagine that one with her clear status and...ah...forthright personality might have a few enemies."

"Ugh, the open road is so dreadful. Shall we stop and rest the horses? I could use a good meal." (Mobile)
Ashanti nodded and looked around for a place to set camp, " Sinsils volunteered to cook, I'll grab firewood and provide water. I bags First Watch."

Sinsil grins at the comment and begins ritual casting unseen servant
Alkyn grins at Ashanti, "That'll do for one or two horses....keep casting, and I'll dig a small trench."
" Only got the one in me today.", Ashanti grinned. " Looks like you'll need to go fetch some more."
