Flynn draws his revolver, then addresses the orc that stands out "I don't know how much you can understand us, but we wan't no trouble. Make no mistake, we aint gonna make it easy if you try to attack."

“I will take responsibility for what I have done. [...] If must fall, I will rise each time a better man.” ― Brandon Sanderson, Oathbringer.
Rictor strolls up to the rest of the group as the band of roving orcs turns toward them and adjusts his hat on his oil slick-black hair. "Don't worry, fellas. A silver tongue's worth a whole mountain of lead," he says with a wink, turning toward the orcs.
He'll wait as calmly as he's able until they get within thirty feet or at least shouting distance - or shooting distance.
Keth jolts at the appearance of his half kin. He turns to Val with a grim look, "These are not ones to talk. You could try but I assure you there will be bloodshed." The former union scout adjusts his grip on his rifle in anticipation.
The Orcs appear to be prepared for a fight. A volley of arrows is fired from them but, all fall short in front of the party. The orc holding the Great Club points his club towards the party and says, "Lat ayh trespassing par our lands humans."
Rictor suddenly feels a trickle of sweat dribble down his cheekbone from under his hat and looks at Keth nervously. "Er, Keth? Do you think they speak English? Or, uh, Infernal?" When he hears the orc speak he shrugs, "Close enough. Listen here, orc friends!"
Rictor holds up his hands and casts Suggestion (WIS save 14) on the orc leader. "I suggest that you order your warband to turn around and ride back the way you came and that you go with 'em. If you see any humans at all on your way you'll avoid 'em and cause 'em no trouble, ya hear?"
Ravoskan will take a moment to focus, and infuse Keth and his mount with a piece of his divine energy, causing them both to swell into immensity, hoping this will help intimidate the orcs into leaving.
Abruptly Keth and his horse become twice their size. This astonishes the band of orcs and many drop their arrows from their bows.
Rictor starts talking to the War Leader. The War Leader's eyes glaze over and he turns and tells the hunting band: Turn around, kulknej liwo der ve ul tent agh reflect par nalkra kulknej have seen. Stay away kor kilgjis humans agh gith others..
The hunting band, already unnerved by a giant half-orc and horse, look around then meld into the woods. After a few moments they are gone and the encounter is over.
The day passes uneventfully. You set up camp, eat, and sleep.
During the night each of you are awakened by the sound of wolves in the distance. It starts as 1 howl to the east. There is another howl in response about a mile off to the west, then the woods erupt in howls. They are at a distance and you hear only the rustle of branches and leaves as the wolves pass in the night. From the sound of it, the number of wolves is unusually large.
The next couple of days are uneventful as well. Travel is just slow and the only things you seem to encounter are a few animals here and there.
The morning of the 4th day finds the party traveling again but this time the party starts seeing more signs of human traffic, with paths going here and there. It's about 10 am when you crest the hill and see the village of Old Bull. It's a small place nestled in the rolling hills of the area. There are about 10 buildings. You recognize the general store, Taft's Sundry and Supplies, the saloon-The dancing Lady. There appear to be a couple of new buildings in the area and from a distance you see a few people milling about.
As you ride into town your first encounter is a new sign with the following words: "By Order of Sheriff Ambrose, all visitors must check in with the Sheriff Office. Violators will be run out of town! This means YOU!"
As you enter the town you find a small crowd standing around outside the Dancing Lady. There are about 5 people standing and 4 people on the ground in various stages of getting up. Those on the ground appear to have been in some altercation and are getting up slowly.
Val holds up a hand to the rest of the group and looks at Keth. ”What do you think? Fight, or talk?”

Ravoskan quickly focuses and presses a glowing hand to his chest, creating a faint outline of light surrounding his body.

Bill just draws his bow pulling an arrow back as he tries to disappear into nearby shadows.

“Daylight’s wasting, c’mon.”
And starts leading them again towards their destination.

Ravoskan rides up, mildly oblivious as usual, "Excuse us, good sirs. We saw the sign outside town, could you direct us to the sheriff, please?"
