Rictor acts out of instinct, calling upon his patron to sheathe his body in icy armor, though first he glares and focuses his ire on the robed man lunging at him with his sword.
Hex as a bonus action on the paladin running at Rictor.
Val plants his staff in the ground and casts entangle on the bad guys near Rictor.
DM: ok this one's on me for not giving the best narrative. I will do better.
The town of Old Bull is set up in a straight line running east and west. Entering from the east, where the characters did, to the Dancing Lady is approximately 120 ft. From the Dancing Lady to the sheriff's office-the very edge of Old Bull is another 120 ft. Keth and Val may act if they do a ranged attack but for melee actions, they must move within melee range, which will take 1 round. Val's spell will be out of range for this round.
Both Val & Keth may repost their actions. (let me know if you feel otherwise and we can sort it out)

Ravoskan offers a quick prayer to the saints for their protections, conjuring up a barrier of force around himself and Bill before releasing a line of cold at this malevolent stranger.
Flynn draws his revolver, fires, rolls behind cover then fires again. You are sure you hit, the man rolls to the right after being hit by both shots, however, something isn't right. You have shot men before and watched them roll after being hit. This man did not roll like he was shot. With the roll, coming within in 5 feet of the door and the man gets in a low crouch. You catch a faint glow from the man's hands, outlining almost, invisible gloves he is wearing. The man does not appear to act like a normal man shot so, either he has experience in being shot or something else is going on. The faint sound of metal hitting the floorboards can be heard as the man draws a pistol.
Ravoskan says a simple prayer in the heavenly language of Celestial and golden globes of light surround him and Bill. A bolt of frost erupts from Ravoskans outstretched hand, striking the man. A sheen of frost coats the man.
Bill draws his bow and arrow and fires at the man. The arrow flies true, however, the man's hand is a blur and he catches the arrow before it does any damage to him.
The man first tosses a small rock to the floor and utters something in an odd language. Abruptly a portal opens and out steps a very large Orc wielding a Battle Axe. The man says something to the Orc and it moves to melee range of Flynn.
The vines entangle Rictor. Rictor may use his action to break out the vines.
Paladin 1 avoids being entangled. He yells "Infidel!" at Rictor as he attacks our entangled Warlock, holding his Long Sword two handed. 1st Attack: 21 2nd Attack: 11
(forgot that anyone attacking a restrained creature has Advantage on the attack, so to avoid the "altered dice alert" forgoing the Advantage with the first attack.)

The Paladin's first attack misses Rictor by a hair, due to the vines interfering with the Paladin's aim. The second attack lands solid, doing 12 to Rictor. Rictor also sees there is a faint glow to the blade and takes 1 radiant damage from the blade.
Rictor, entangled, utters words in some archaic language. His body suddenly covered by a sheen of frost. He utters archaic words again and a black-reddish energy bathes the Paladin and surrounds his frame.
The Nun of the robed figures utters words in Celestial and a holy radiance surrounds her. Suddenly that radiance turns to flames and lashes out at Rictor, Val, and Keth. (Each of you: roll a CON save DC of 15. Failure means you take 2 Radiant Damage.
Keth rushes in, covering the distance between himself and Paladin 1.
Paladin 2 stands in front of the Nun gripping his long sword with two hands but makes no actions.
Gunfire erupts all around you as those Cavalry Soldiers and those townsfolk with guns engage one another. Out of the corner of your eye, you see a couple of the townsfolk go down after being shot.

Rictor flinches from the pain of the attack and grits bared teeth as he feels his dark clothes slowly get heavier with his seeping blood. His eyes go dark as he finishes uttering the esoteric words and for a moment he can ignore the pain, feeling vitality return to him. He felt alive like he hadn't just been sliced with a sword, but like most of his patron's gifts he knew it was only temporary.
Just as suddenly as it came the darkness disappeared and the whites of his eyes returned. "Look here you sword-waving, Bible-thumping mockery of God. I may not serve a higher power, but the one I answer to was once a child of God just like you and me. I'm on the path back to righteousness, but you? You're just another upjumped street thug with delusions of grandeur." He smirks, magic infusing his words as he spits venom at the paladin.
(I forgot to specify which ability I gave the paladin disadvantage on from the Hex spell, going to say Wisdom.)
Bill stands from the table drawing his bow as his eyes mark the man Flynn fired shots at. He just releases an arrow in his direction.
