You can see recent footprints on the floor that wrap around to the stairs and go down.

Kitsune gives a quiet-as-a-mouse psssssshhhhhhh to her fellow gang, and points out the footprints.  She'll then continue to lead the group down the stairs.

Owlstra follows behind everyone else as quietly as he possibly could.

You quietly climb down the stairs and descend to level two. Zyn jerks violently, nearly falling, and her eyes clear once more.

"Whoa." she says, looking around. "How did I get here? Ow, my head." she moans, pressing her temple.

Unsure if Zyn is Zyn or if this is another trick by that babbling weirdo who has apparently infected her body, she quizzes Zyn by asking "Quick, Miss Zyn...who sent us here on this mission so many days ago?"

"Syndra." Zyn says. "Why, did you forget?"

Kira pokes Zyn repeatedly in the knee. "Heeeeey. Get back out here, you tentacled coward!"

"Come off it, tentacles isn't in control right now, Kira."

Kitsune: "Just checking to see if....you....is you."  she whispers back to Zyn.  "Glad to have you back!"

She'll lead the group to 7B.

Zyn giggled at Kira's poking, then she refocused. "Tentacle..? I'm right here, you little rascal." she smiled at her, slightly confused.

A bronze plaque is fixed to the east wall of the balcony on level 2, engraved with another of Acererak’s cryptic warnings in Common.

AREA 25 - SCRYING POOL

Behind the secret door, water fills a carved stone font. When you glance into the pool, the water begins to swirl, and eerie light emanates from within the basin. Slowly, an image resolves on the water’s surface.

The image is what something else is seeing, live, on another level you haven't been on in the Tomb. It's dark, so the image is in black and white. Whatever it is, it's in another dungeon hall, patrolling.

Perception: 16

Kitsune will attempt to memorize the view of what she's seeing through someone/something elses eyes.  Is there a pattern to their patrolling (such that we can use that to our advantage later, if we need to hide from whomever is patrolling)?

The patrolling is random.

"I'd like it if I knew whose eyes we were lookin' through, or where they were, but I guess we'll have to press on anyway." On to Area 21.

Three oval holes are carved into a nine-foot-wide, nine-foot-high stone door at human head height. As you approach, three humanoid heads stick out of the holes, each covered in putrid flesh and gnashing on an iron bit bolted to a chain bridle. Zombies!!

Asha pulls out her hammer and starts smacking the zombie heads.

It's easy to start crushing the heads, like a game of whack a mole. You notice that the zombies are tied at the neck with rope, as if they are keeping something from being opened, possibly the stone door.

Kira's eyes change, and she looks around. "Uh, guys? How did we get down here?"

"We took the stairs." Asha says as she smashes the zombies so that she can open the door.
