"I've met many strange creatures in my travels, but never anyone that looks like a 'barnacled whale,'" he says with a laugh, looking at his associates, who are laughing too.
"You had enough fun with him, Captain Shoalar? We got business to tend to." The halfing asks.
"You're right, Pike..." Shoalar says, snapping his fingers, disappearing, then reappearing on the deck of the ship. "Kill them, dump their bodies in the river."
Tidbits watched the Genasi disappear and then reappear on the boat, his instincts kicked in and he pointed at him and whispered his accuracy incantation. That particular incantation has come in handy many times while chasing the numerous creatures that had been let in by his master leaving the door open, out of the house. Tidbits then pulled his bow from his back as he took cover behind a nearby larger object.
Paakia enters a rage seeing that her friend Arial is threatened. In a frenzy, she charges forward with greataxe drawn, charging at one of the sailors near the triton pirate. He turns with a look of horror on his face and starts to scream, but it is cut short by two massive swings from the goliath. The first attack cuts vertically into his shoulder, but the second goes horizontally into his armpit, lifts him off his feet, and flings him off the dock and into the river with a splash. The water around the sailor turns from brown to red as he bobs on the surface, unmoving.
Arial puts his hands up in a non-threatening fashion, "Now, now, mates, no need for violence." But is quickly met with two sharp objects sinking into his side. Arial stumbles back, "You know, this is why I drink..." then manifests an Ice Knife and chucks it toward the Genasi, "What's wrong, mate? You didn't grow up at the bottom of the ocean?" Which sinks into his shoulder and detonates in an explosion of ice. Arial then wild shapes into a large, furry mountain cat.

As the triton runs away, the sailor and his halfling companion surround the goliath, taking swings. Paakia is prepared to deflect two of them, but the halfling lands a solid blow on her leg with his mace, but it looks like it hardly phases the frenzied goliath.
My eyes narrow, my movements become more precise, and anyone looking at me sees a hunting apex predator. I focus in on Shoalar, take careful aim . . . and the druid-hater turns out to be a druid.
Shoalar, cursing under his breath and reeling from the pain of Arial's ice knife, rebuttals with an outstretched hand. 5 darts of arcane energy erupt from the tips of his fingers and smash into the triton's crag cat form. "Hold them off!" The genasi shouts as he dashes to the ship's deckhouse and disappears inside it.
Seeing her new friends being attacked, Nix yells at the halfling who just hit Paakia. Oh no you don't. She moves her hands infant of her conjuring the elements of natures, and speaking in Druidic casts Gust of Wind.
Tidbits raised his head from hiding and saw that his target had exited into the interior of the boat, so he stepped out, drew his bow and aimed at the Halfling that was attacking Paakia. He released the arrow and watched as it soared through the air and embedded itself into the hindquarters of the Halfling. Tidbits then returned to his hiding spot and began preparing his next arrow.
Crag-rial leaps over Paakia and the sailors onto the deck of the ship. The large, horse-sized cat charges toward the door of the deckhouse and slams into it with his cat claws. Oddly enough, the door holds fast. "Well... that's stronger than it looks..." The pirate thinks to himself. As Crag-rial steps back from the door, he channels his Druidic magics to heal his cat form's wounds.

Despite the harsh wind blowing in his face, Pike holds his ground, swinging his mace at Paakia. She deflects the first of his blows as well as the sailor's, but Pike gets a second hit in, bludgeoning the goliath's arm, but it hardly phases her.
Meanwhile in the deckhouse, it seems that Shoalar has informed his other cronies of the situation. Aiming crossbows at the door, three more sailors loose a volley of bolts toward the door, hoping to strike the beast tearing down their door. Two lodge themselves in the door with a thud, but one strikes Crag-rial right in the shoulder.
Paakia in all her fury and rage swung her axe at Pike. She would try to repay him for the bludgeoning he gave her. However, she was so blinded by her hatred that she completely missed him. "Shit!"

Tidbits again steps from behind where he has chosen to hide and fires his arrow at the halfling, this time it sinks into the lower left of the halfling's back. He then shifts back behind cover and resumes hiding.
Crag-rial thinks to himself, "Alright, take two." And takes another running leap toward the door, this time sending it crashing down on its hinges. Crag-rial roars, thinking to himself, "That's right, gentlemen, drink it all in." Before quickly ducking back out of the cabin.

Paakia lunges at Pike and wrangles her arms around him. He was clearly not expecting it and was quite easily captured and lifted off the ground by her. She grins at her squad. "Doesn't he look a bit thirsty!?" She moves as best she can near the railing on the boat, hoping to toss Pike into the waters and taking him out of the fight completely.

“Help me, you idiot!” Pike screams at the sailor with him, unable to break free of the goliath’s strong arms. The sailor, unsure of what to do and panicking slightly, swings wildly, cutting a gash in Paakia’s shoulder, but it’s not enough to stop this raging beast.
Terrified of the beast now in the deckhouse, the sailors fire off another volley of bolts from their crossbows. Two find their marks in Cragrial’s hide, but the third sails out of the opening where the door used to be.
Seeing that Paakia has my current target grappled, I decide to switch my focus to the rather unimpressive pirate. My arrow just misses his jugular vein, and I curse the wind.
