Gil slumps as he allows Dra'vos to lead him off. "But he looked just like Bert." He continues to shuffle off then gives Eekz a quick glance and a wink before continuing quietly in thieves cant.
"Hah, no, I'm just making this shit up as I go. My bass player was named Bootsy"
He looks off in the distance, "Wait, there he is" he shouts and starts to move away from the bloody scene, "Gert!"
Gael looks rather confused, but knowing their target person is not beyond the fatalities, he just shrugs and follows the rest of the group. Once he believes everyone to be out of hearing range of the guards, he murmurs, "Well, that was interesting. Any new ideas, now that our primary plan of action seems to be on hold for the time being?"
Eekz, you whisper in cant, and get no response from any of the thugs. When you inconspicuously try to get closer, the guard you've been interacting with says, "Oy. Stay back. Don't talk to the prisoners." You begrudgingly move back.
Gael, Dylan looks at you and says, "Are we not planning on continuing to the Dragon? I agree with Gil that it looks to be the most effective lead. I know of a detour which can take us around the cordoned area."
Continuing on, Dylan leads you up a couple side streets and back onto your original road, beyond the cordons. Tall, densely packed tenements leave most of the neighborhood in shadow at the ground level. Most of the streetlamps have had their glass smashed and candles stolen. What stands out most is the smell of salt air and excrement, which lingers as you pass by rows of run-down buildings. Y ou pass a shop that stands out from the others. Its facade is a deep purple, and in its window hangs a stuffed beholder. Over the door, in strangely (for the area) elaborate letters, you see the words, "Old Xoblob Shop." Down the road a couple blocks, you see a hanging sign upon which you can see a faded green dragon.

"I believe tossing the bard into the sea would be wise next step," Dra'vos says keeping step with Dylan and Gael, "At least before he implicates us as part of Xanathar's guild and lands us in chains."
"To be honest, such a thing could even prove convenient for us, as it would provide us with some aliby to talk to them. It could prove quite helpful, I've never been in contact with the guild myself, but just being able to rule them out as a party involved in Floons disappearance would be a success for now." Gaèl shrugs, then turns sideways, the shops intriguing facade obviously attracting his attention. "Anyone knows what's this about? I dont think I've ever stumbled upon it before..." he says with a grin scratching the back of his head. He leans in closer, trying to ascertain the shops specification from what's visible on the outside.
"Perhaps," Dra'vos agrees begrudgingly, "no, you are correct, we still hold too little information. Floons disappearance could be something simple but if it were tied to Xanathar would low members like those hold any useful leads?" Even as Dra'vos asks the question he could see Gaèl point, even if the lower members did not know the full plan they could have heard whispers, if there were any to hear, Dra'vos shakes his head. "No nevermind, it is possible they may have heard something, but I find the point moot regardless as the guards seem apprehensive at best to allow us any conversation with those they arrested."
"Old Xoblob?" Dra'vos thinks back trying to remember if he had heard of the shop before.
As you get closer to the shop, a cloud of lavender-scented purple smoke trails out of the shop's door. As you look inside, every wall is painted purple, and there are dozens of knickknacks on the wall, each dyed a deep violet. From outside, the only other thing of note is that there is a giant stuffed beholder glaring through the window.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
“It doesn’t hurt to eliminate any chance that Floon might have been seen by these shopkeeps with clues to his disappearance,” Sylivar adds, while peering wt the entrance to the odd shop. “We might even find something useful to our investigations.”
Perception: 20 to see if Sylivar can hear or glean any sound or entity hidden behind the doorway / shop exterior.
”After you, unless you’re preoccupied with throwing each other into the Dock aspect of this section of town,” says Sylivar to nobody in particular.
Gil stares at the shop, his eyes widening in a combination of horror and amazement. "It's so purple." He shakes his head again, almost as if trying to clear the purple cobwebs out of it before he nods at Silivar and pushes his way into the fog entering the shop.
"Hello" he calls out tentatively looking through the swirling mist for the shop keeper.
"Well, finally! At last I find someone with some appreciation for the colour!" Gaèl follows right after Gil, a look of professional curiosity on his face.
