I can attempt to intimidate them and bluff from a position of power as we just devastated the leader that had dominated them in less time then dealing a hand of cards.
I was thinking Charisma to disrupt his control via deception, intimidation, or persuasion on his minions. We don't need to kill all of them, just cow his supporters.
Okay guys, let’s take a step back since there are a lot of actions going on. I want you to understand this though Yeemik is patient, he won’t let you take forever to make your minds. Every time he senses that you are doing something suspicious, the more likely you’ll anger him and combat will start. Now, the list so far:
Arikon uses Persuasion to reason with Yeemik to send over Sildar, using Inspiration
Jeb moves his Hex from Klarg to Yeemik. He also casts Prestidigitation on his rapier and cleans it. Why? What is he trying to do?
Zee searches the chest. Then, he casts charm person on Yeemik. I’m going to first tell you what you find in the chest, and then you can carry on with the spell if you wish. To hide spell casting, do both a Stealth Check and a Sleight of Hand Check as the spell has both verbal and somatic components.
Does this sound alright so far? Is there anything else, or would you like me to resolve now?

Jeb, I understand your intent. Please do an intimidation check.
Jeb will be using his banked inspiration from the bar fight on this one. Was it an extra d6 or d10? Not sure after reviewing our comments on how to use it in the campaign.
Or we just attack and take the fight to them?! Yemik has already broken his word as expected. A show of force, particularly of a mystical nature would likely send most of the goblins fleeing. Especially if we take out Yemik or his two henchmen in a spectacular fashion.
So, do we want to avoid combat or encourage combat in this instance?
I vote combat, Jeb still has a few tricks up his sleeve to turn this interaction into a full on culling of activity from this group for quite some time in this area at least.
I would also try to fight this out. Maybe we could break down the pool and flood the cave or something. What would I need to roll to see if it has any structural weaknesses to exploit?
If we can't get this to end peacefully then my first turn actions would probably be sanctuary on Sildar then toll the dead on Yeemik. If Sildar gets hurt then I can always use a healing potion on him when he is down.
Or if Yeemik decides to slit Sildars throat, then I will healing word Sildar and then toll the dead Yeemik.
I can also Thumatargy a some to rattle the other goblins a bit more.
Honestly, I would even give my gold as some kind of show for Yeemik' S haggling so he can keep face in front of his people.

Any one opposed to Jeb getting this party started? I plan on hurling the concealed dagger at Yemik to hopefully startle him into releasing his hold on Sildar and allowing him to flee towards the group. Jeb will then move up to assist Sildar as he will be weak from his ordeal.

I think you want the hex used on wisdom checks as he will probably use insight against our rolls
I can cast sanctuary on Sildar lol tell him not to attack or cast and just walk over to us. I'm sure we can decimate the goblins if they try anything.

yeah but he would use wisdom checks to see through our Persuasion/Deception rolls.
I really should have just gone straight Warlock lol

It’s got really mixed up, and we’ve been going back and forth. Arikon rolled with advantage, so you can do the same.

John said he couldn't and wouldn't do it. You'll have to convince him otherwise.

Didn't Zee already use his inspiration in the goblin ambush? Is someone else awarding it to you?

I can't; burned mine to spook the minions.
