DMOOC: man, I love how this story is playing out, it's even more interesting than the first time I ran it for my friends irl. Really enjoying everyone's characters, and I'm so glad I finally tried out this site! As the first round of encounters comes to an end I'll be assigning exp (maybe some loot as well🤷♂️😉), and giving the characters a couple hours of down time in game to do any downtime type stuff they may want to accomplish, and then begin the next set of events. I apologize for the sporadic timing of some of my posts, but I think things will get a bit easier to read as the party gathers together(I hope, lol.)
I hope you are all having a good game so far, thanks again for playing!
ooc: no prob. only had one bit of damage so far, and some good rolls.
East woods:Ai'ryn casts Mage armor, but a surge of his innate wild magic causes the plants at his feet to grow rapidly and he is restrained.
two of the bandits rush forward to meet the oncoming construct, the first swings his scimitar and rolls a21 to hit , damage is 2 on a hit,, the second rolls a 20 the damage is 5
Letting out a small yelp, the Merchant begins to try to turn the carriage away from the woods facing south, he is only able to get the horses halfway turned this round.
Gling's turn next, then one bandit, then Tegid, then the other bandit.
This roll is for after Gling's turn (just doing it now while I have some time)
Tegid sees the bandits attach Ai'ryn and comes up to attack one of them.
Attack: 13 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
**EDIT to do damage roll (in-built macro not working) Damage: 10
EDIT:SORRY, I OOPSED THIS encounter a bit. TL;DR, three of four bandits are now dead, one is attacking Ai'ryn.
The merchant has turned the carriage and has begun to race southwest toward the ports of Androll.
Tegid, Gling, and Ai'ryn, please roll initiative.
The remaining bandit makes a morale check, fails on a 10 or higher : 3

Bandit's initiative roll:17
Gling initiative: 16
Does Gling's rage continue?
Still ragin like a Cajun. Bandit is 5 feet behind Gling, focused on Ai'ryn, back turned.
The curses that come from Elelyel now are much more articulate and faster. It is clear she's doing it in her native language, with a few words in just one other language thrown in here and there. She races back to her gear, grabs her javelin and throws it at Gnirm. Attack: 21 Damage: 4
After a bit of explaining, TlakShik relates to the other three though his telepathic psionic abilities his intention to prove his prowess as a warrior by defeating the dragon in this area he had heard rumors of...Nivlen is able to explain to the reinforcement guards arriving on scene the nature of the misunderstanding, and after some stern slaps from the commanding officer, the unconscious young guard is roused from his slumber.
The blue Boys are gone from the scene, and the guards depart, warning Nivlen to keep an eye on the strange traveler. As the four of you are discussing the dragon attack, you notice a carriage about a half mile or so from the town, speeding down the path toward town at a breakneck speed. The man at the reins wears the clothes of a Merchant, and he keeps looking over his shoulder as though he is being followed. The carriage rocks back and forth over the uneven path, so much so you wonder if the man is about to lose a wheel.
The man is making a B line towards your location. What would the four of you like to do?
Elric chuckled as the scene and stood clear of the carts path. The albino peered past the cart to get a glimpse of what was putting the man in such a hurry. Perception: 15

Order of initiative is Tegid, Bandit, Gling, Ai'ryn.
The wild magic surge has faded, the plants fall away from Ai'ryn's feet.
Tegid aims up at the remaining bandit with, the injustice of what he has seen flowing through his veins
Attack: 22 Damage: 11
EDIT** - Tegid is only aiming to subdue the bandit, not kill him - ie knock him down to disarm and then question him/her once combat is complete.
You pull up on your strike at the last moment, knocking the bandit across the skull. He collapses to the ground, unconscious. He begins snoring loudly.
It is now Gling's turn, the carriage is around 400 feet away from you, and 1800 feet from the city gates. You see a small crowd of people near the gate that notice the wagon hurtling toward them, they begin to move out of the way, though a few seem to be readying themselves for its approach. Gling, what would you like to do? (DMOOC:you are still raging, but if you do not engage in an attack action this round your rage ends at the end of the round)

looking past the man, your keen eyes notice what appears to be some sort of skirmish occurring at the edge of the woods, although you can't quite make out the features of the combatants. Carriage is now around 1800 feet awy from the gate and closing fast.
Gling readies to swing its maul at the final bandit, but when Tegid takes him down, the warforged looks up to see the carriage making its escape. As if deflating, Gling's armor reduces once again as the construct begins stiffly running after the carriage, holding its maul in both hands.
(OOC - I find that when there's two separate groups within one thread, who's doing what gets lost sometimes. I think that's what slows it down unfortunately.)
DMOOC: Apologies for the latent posts again, I'm a single dad and a farmer irl, so my job sometimes is like a 16 hour day, sometimes it's like 2 hours, lol. I will be on around 7 tonight(around ten hours from this post). If you are in Lowtown group, (Righteousness, Merric, Elelyel, Jhoni, Koric) and haven't posted initiative roll (missing 2 i think) by then I'll just roll it for you, so we can finish up our pirate battle. If you want to post your action with initiative, that's fine. Perhaps if it goes well,, Jhoni will get his ship back from the dastardly Captain Gnirm?...The East woods and North Gate groups sound like they may be about to meet up, East woods combat is ended other than pursuit, so no init is needed, you three can just post your next set of actions(i saw gling's already). North gate group is on deck to roll initiative as the carriage is approaching your location, if the four of you(Nivlen, Elric, Mallus, and Tlak Shik) roll for init now that's fine too. I'll be on here for a couple hours minimum tonight I'm going to try to post another video map/recap and set up the second scene. After that, I'm hoping the pace will be a little more steady, I may begin rolling initiatives for encounters going forward so they can be posted neatly in the beginning of each round of combat, that way everyone starts each round at the same time. Thanks for your patience, this PbP stuff is definitely a learning experience for me... if any one has any tips or complaints or just wants to chat about the game,, feel free to pm me, I'll catch up with you when I can...and I'll "see" everyone tonight!

“Well, this should be interesting” Mallus mutters to himself as he follows suit and dodges out of the way of the cart.

Rage subsides
Movement: 60 feet after the carriage
still here, waiting for initiative order
Jhoni rolled a 7 and Elelyel got an 11

And Koric a 12 here and his move is here.
