"I'm from the Shield Lands, specifically Critwall, the capital. I'm a daughter of House Halo, a family known for its devotion to Heironeous." Summer began. "That's probably why so many of my family members were paladins. In fact, my father and older sister swore an oath to follow in the same footsteps. As for me, I took an interest in my mother's craft. She was a performer who would protect the common folk with her troupe, but she had a knack for going on journeys to discover the secrets of the world. Sometimes my parents' interests would align, which is how they met. Though my mother preferred the freedom of the road, she loved my father enough to marry into nobility. As for myself, I spent my childhood watching longtime companions and associates of my parents come and go through our manor, sharing tales of adventure and mystery. You could say I was groomed for the life we're currently leading. There was a point where I wanted to go out and see the world for myself, so here I am."
Summer casually shrugged, hoping that she didn't bore anyone to death with her tale.

I come from the city of Greyhawk, although last night was the most recent I've been there in about a month." Lar-Dun says. "I pursued a simple profession, but... things happened and I can no longer do so comfortably. I'm hoping this adventure can change that." He says with a smile.

"Well I'm also from Greyhawk," Genken smirks, "Though I spend most of my time amongst the nobles in the courts. The courts were beginning to get a little dull, so I ventured out for some excitement. I can be rather... persuasive, should the need arise." Genken smiles as he leans back into his seat and looks out at the road ahead of them.
"I've never been the best at talking to people. Usually they get annoyed by my questions, or squeeky voice..." She trails off remembering the many times she's tried and failed to make friends. But soon shakes the thought. "You all seem like a good group of people though. Please let me know if you find me annoying, or if I say something out of place. I would have to ruin a good thing."
Summer chuckled at Genken's comment. "As a noble myself, I can agree that we can be quite stuffy at times. Maybe I should pass the time by playing a song?"

Arisys smiles at her friends reassurance. When the music begins, Arisys nods her head and taps her feet following the rhythm and beat of her companions song. She turns to Kira, "Are these roads safe passage to Oakhurst? Or could we expect an attack?" At this thought, Arisys will lay her Boomerang on her lap just in case it is needed.

"Only if we're lucky" Ondrej chimes in, reaching down and gripping the handle of his greatsword with one hand. "Don't worry little one, you're safe with me around."
"For the most part, no, we should remain fairly unbothered. Though, there are rumors of strange creatures roaming the woods within about a day's travel of the town. We've never seen them ourselves, but it can't hurt to be prepared." Kira pats the sword on her belt, and if you look back, you notice that the other two drivers are also armed, one with an axe and one with a bow.
"That is good to know." Arisys taps her forehead with her index finger indicating that she was making a mental note. "How far are we from the village? Will we need to break for camp along the way?" She will pull up her canteen and take a deep drink of water, the sun beating down on her has made her thirsty.
"About a week, so definitely," Kira chuckles. "Don't worry, we have tents, food, and water for you. Damian told us a group would be joining us for this month's journey, so we brought extra supplies."
Lar-Dun was not excited about the prospect of riding in a confined carriage for a week, but knowing that Summer can play music like that, well it certainly changes his mind. "That's a beautiful song." He comments when she finishes playing.

Summer chuckled at Genken's comment. "As a noble myself, I can agree that we can be quite stuffy at times. Maybe I should pass the time by playing a song?"
"Haha well noble Summer," Genken bows his head, "A little tune will help while away the miles."

"A week?! Well then that leaves us lots of time to get to know each other!" Arisys sighs with content at the journey ahead.
Summer nodded at Arisys' statement. She begins playing a tune from her native Critwall about lost love. (Performance: 23)

Two things:
1. I just wanted to say that I thoroughly enjoyed that song
2. Is everyone ready to move on? It seems like the conversation has slowed down a bit.
