Meepo perks up a bit. "Really? You would do that for Meepo?"

"What's a Calcryx?"

"Calcryx is our dragon. Meepo was supposed to take care of him but now he's gone and it's all Meepo's fault!"

"How...big of a dragon?" Summer asked with an eyebrow raised.

"He's only a baby. Meepo raised him since he come out of the egg." At this point, Meepo is starting to tear up a bit.

Summer squatted down to be at Meepo's level. She never anticipated that she would empathize with a kobold but she did feel sorry for the little guy. "Don't worry, Meepo. We'll help you get your dragon back. My comrades and I are good at such things."

Genken nods, "We can help you Meepo. But of course, you need to help us too. It's pretty easy to get turned around in here. Where did these goblins come from? How's about you give us some directions, or better yet, perhaps you could guide us?"

"The goblins stole a whole dragon?" Lar-Dun asks, somewhat skeptically. "How did they manage that?"

"Meepo don't know. They come at night and knock Meepo on the head." Turning to Genken, he says, "Meepo can show you where the goblins live, but, uh, we gots to go past Yusdrayl to get there."

"What kind of dragon are we talking here? And how important is it to you Kobolds?" Lar-Dun asks. "I don't want to go starting war with any Goblins over a simple pet."

Arisys would like to have a look at the other things in this room, while the others are talking with Meepo. Is there anything of interest that draws her eye?

Arisys, you don't see anything particularly interesting. When you approach the door on the southern wall, you smell something awful coming from within.

"Calcryx is not a pet. He is very important," Meepo defends. "Yusdrayl gon' be real mad if she find out."

"Well then no wonder how they stole it. Your leader doesn't even know about it yet?" Lar-Dun asks.

"It's only been..." Meepo thinks for a moment. "Two days. She don't visit Meepo very often."

"So we take care of the goblins, help you find your dragon, and you take us to the magic apple?"

"Meepo can't be takin' you to the tree. Is very scary down there." He shakes his head vehemently. "But Meepo can tell you where it is."

"Is there anyone who can take us to the tree?" Lar-Dun inquires.

"Meepo don't know anyone who would go down there."

Genken smiles at Meepo. "That's ok, little one. Directions to the tree will suffice. But as for your stolen dragon, how do you think we can get past Yusdrayl without angering your master?"

Meepo thinks for a moment. "Do any of you has coins? Meepo could try to convince the guards to bring Yusdrayl to fake meeting."
