"Oh, Rinn look! It's called "Falcon’s Hunting Lodge". It's, um, I think that's forty or so miles north by northeast from here." Blaire says as she shows Rinn her map pointing to the ledger key and the map.
"Oh my goodness! Where did you manage to find something like this" (Would I recognize this key?) "The Crystal Spire is the keep of Kelemvor, lord of the dead. When mortals die thier souls go to the grey wastes where Kelemvor looks at your life and deeds and judges where you will spend eternity. Death is not something to be feared nor celebrated. It is a natural cycle of life and my lord balances that aspect of it."
Holding up the Key she will point out the scales held by skeleton arm. "See, balance in all things. Death included"
(( TT: You do not recognize the key. It feels powerful and comforting the moment you take it into your hands. ))
Gralk thinks carefully then finally shakes her head. "Felt weave. Key for you. I see key open door. Maglubiyet and Skiggaret speak of weave lady, dawn sister and weave lady, dusk sister. Gave Gralk to weave lady. I not hear of crystal spire. Of death judge. Only of great hunt for Maglubiyet. Dusk sister say 'for priestess of crystal spire', know she mean you."
After sundown, while eating a meal around the campfire, Lia returns to you, Robwin.
She shares with you telepathically the images of delivering your letter.
Sarah laughs reading the letter. "What's that love?" / "That Robwin. He sent a note complimenting my writing and thanking you for the part of his order you pulled together. He's nice script but wrote a few words to sound out as the common word which looks very funny on paper."
Sarah looks at Lia and says in Espruar (elven). "I know what you are. Tell him the name is Elmar not Elmer. My name in mother's tongue is... no not important... Elsa's name is 'consecrated of the goddess' (Ath Tel' (emphasis) arsurinya)"
In common, "Makes you laugh, writes well, has money and has you speaking elvish to animals. Do I need to worry?", Mr. Barthen asks teasingly coming into view hugging Sarah who laughs smiling. / "Of course not. He's sweet on Elsa." / "Oh, that's interesting isn't it?" / "Oh, stop." Laughing again
Then in Elvish again, "Now, off with you. Selûne preserve you."
As with all your communications with Lia the sharing is instantaneous but processing takes a bit.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
During the journey, Robwin admits to Rinn that he did not understand the joke either, unless maybe the falcon is a person?...
He also nods along in agreement as Wolfsong and Eli speak and discuss plans.
But aside from that he seems a little distracted or preoccupied. He helps set camp, and joins in the meal. This all seems to help him get back into the swing of life-on-the-trail, after a couple of nights of relative luxury, in a warm bed with a beautiful woman.
When Lia returns, Robwin makes a glorious fuss of her, and his smile spreads as she recounts the exchange with Sarah.
Robwin will gladly take a watch with Lia helping from above.
While on his watch, Robwin seems distracted. As always, he unconsciously practices arcane phrases under his breath and traces the shape of the somatic components of his spells in the air with his fingers...
..****y just now he catches himself daydreaming: imagining that he’s tracing the curves of Elsa’s cheek and neck with his fingers instead.
He sits on his hands and stares out into the darkness.

Rinn takes the last watch, sitting on a low branch of a tree to keep an eye out for anything coming near the camp (Perception: 16). As dawn approaches, he summons an unseen servant through a small ritual. He gets the servant to collect some tinder and firewood from nearby and stoke the campfire.
Rinn, As you get an hour into your watch, you notice through the trees some distance north lights gently blinking in the woods. (( Reminder: While Ikki, Eli, Robwin and you can function on four hours reverie/meditation, the others need more time. ))
Robwin brings himself quickly to full consciousness. And having been approached in such a strange way, he is on high alert!
Nevertheless, he recognises the approach of an unseen servant, and is happy to find Rinn and bring Lia along. “What’s that?”, he asks Rinn, and takes a good look at the lights, while keeping quiet, and keeping a low profile...
(( Based on Rinn's vantage point and passive senses, the lights are probably a mile from you, near the ground, not flicking the way a fire or lantern would. ))
“Hmmm... the lights are fair way away yet....”, says Robwin. “Let’s keep our eyes on them for now... ...I can always send Lia out to see what they are, if you like, or we can just monitor the situation”.
If Rinn doesn’t object, Robwin will send Lia to check what’s over there. He’ll instruct her to stay high and around 200ft away from any of the lights at least (further if she can get a good look without going closer), and then return as quickly as possible.
Lia flies out silently as owls are apt to do. You quickly lose sight of her. After a time she reaches out to you through your unique bond. She's coming back. She shares with you the sight of three glowing orbs hovering over a pit. Laying halfway in the pit, is a large misshappened humanoid; Ogre perhaps. It apparently went in head first. There are two red-orange humanoid also in the pit, dead or dying impaled on rough spikes. A third is weekly fending off tiny grotesque bat like creatures and the glowing orbs. The orbs seem to be feeding off the stirge and living hobgoblin. They must be Will-o'-Wisp. They seem to be killing off the striges with small zaps of lightning, just enough to leave them writhing in agony after they pull off or are cast off the hobgoblin.
That extra time in bestiary studies is paying off!

As camp is set up, Gaatbort and Blaire see to the wolves and help setting tents.
Eli sets a tent and helps building a fire pit, gathering wood and setting a fire.
Glufs and Gralk help preparing the small game (small prairie mammals and fowl) that was collected during the trip and the foraged greens.
(( No one needs to burn a ration today. If they join the meal. ))
(( OOC: Did TT give Ikki a 940gp portion? I don’t know if it was assumed or may have been done and I missed it in thread. ))

(yes)
Rinn notes and watches the lights to the north closely. He telepathically instructs his servant to get Robwin and Lia.
(DM Question - how far away are the lights?)
