((Robwin was pretty much exactly 60ft from the owlbear last round (to cast web at it's feet at it's longest range). The owlbear has moved 40ft away. If Robwin now chases for 30ft he'd be 70ft away........ Do you think he could cast web at the extreme of it's range (60ft) and have the 20ft square continue on out from that point, towards the owlbear, and for the effect of the spell to reach it, even if the origin of the spell is a little short??! Sorry for the maths-y questions. If you have an answer (yey or ney) then great. If it's too much of a close one, maybe an arcana check to see if it works? Let me know what you think :-) If there’s no chance, or just plain out of range, that’s fine. Let me know what you think. Thanks... ))
Robwin continues after the owlbear and tries to catch it in a web again...
Movement: spends his movement in pursuit of the owlbear.
Action: Robwin casts web at its furthest range (60ft), in an attempt to catch the owlbear in the effect of the web that then coats the floor for a further 20 feet (20ft square 5ft deep). Initially the owlbear needs to succeed a DEX save (DC14) at the start of its next turn or be restrained.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Wolfsong growls in frustration, he wanted to test his strength against the owlbear but the beast was just running away. Wolfsong moves forward his full 30ft while pulling out another javelin and going for another trow at the owlbear.
Wolfsong with the extra cover of the trees, you miss your quarry.
Rinn is up. Did he take the movement up the castle exterior? (Advantage on longbow range attack in that case. Owlbear has a +5 to its AC due to partial cover.)

(OOC - Rinn had gone up the stairs somewhat, but I don't think his movement had taken him right up to the roof?)
Rinn looks upwards towards the roof, considering the vantage point, but then down and outside the castle and the Owlbear running outside his range. He growls in a little frustration and jumps down and runs out into the forest, following the owl bear as it crashes through the trees. He runs his full movement, then lines up a shot with his longbow as best he can, taking a deep breath and loosing the arrow.
Longbow Attack: 20 Damage: 5
He will then (bonus action) dash to move further into the forest to continue chasing the creature.
(( OOC: @Grwobert, I was thinking, "How would Eli react to this?" He's a trained Paladin of Helm. Hasn't really been outside the cities of Helm and Neverwinter, and doesn't have real experience beyond the family stories and militaristic religiosity of Helm's order. Whereas TT, Robwin, Blaire and Wolfsong have deep personal contact and experience with the weave and the gods. I think he's just starting to realize how deep the water really is. ))

I don’t know. It’s an interesting question. I don’t really know Paladins that well, and don’t know anything much about Helm myself either, so it’s hard to say. You get to see pretty much everything in Neverwinter though. What are your gut feelings about it? What would Robwin know about all that? I’m happy to RP it out if Eli wants to bring it up. I have a level 2 Paladin myself just coming to terms with spellcasting coming out of nowhere and the prospect of swearing an oath at next level. At level 1, I played her as a plain, mundane, human squire, so it’s pretty mega for her too.
(Sorry was out for a day or 2) TT would be awestruck at the goings on. Seeing the Owlbear struggling to get free she would yell out "Stop!! Its just trying to get free! It doesn't have to die!"
((Can it go 80ft if it used its action to free itself?))

(( @Grwobert, No, it could not. Thank you for catching and calling out my mistake. I appreciate it.
(( The Owlbear is free and put another 40 ft between the north side of the castle and itself.
It is now 100 ft north of the castle wall, Rinn and Robwin.
It has partial cover from the trees.
It is 95 ft from Worlfsong and 70 ft from Eli.
))
TT, Wolfsong, Robwin, Are in the action order?
TT had just entertaining the provisions chamber and could see the goings-on beyond it. Whatever she does occurs just before the Owlbear gets free.

TT has an action to work into the mix from that previous round.
Blaire reaches the chamber, sighs, and rushes through (60 ft / 30ft through chamber & 30 ft north toward the treeline) Ini 19
New Round: Rinn (Ini: 21), Eli (Ini 20), TT (Ini: 13), Owlbear (Ini: 12), Lia (Ini: 12), Robwin (Ini: 9), Wolfsong (Ini: 8)
King Grol, Gralk and Glufs arrive at the end of the round.

Rinn's arrow catches the Owlbear in the back of its left shoulder.
Magic to most is a confusing mix of commonplace and amazing, a concentration spells even more so.
Eli stands dumbfounded for a moment as the huge bed of webs is instantaneously gone as Robwin dropped and recast it.
As Blaire reaches him she slightly pushes his shoulder, "Move!"
They close the distance to the edge of the web.
Owlbear (1-10 attack; 11-20 run) 4 DEX Sav 15
With the hit in the shoulder, the Owlbear jerks around roaring a full challenge and is immediately immobilized by the webs.
((Yes absolutely right! I meant to say that the other webs disappear as the new webs appear! Thanks))

TT (2turns) as well as Lia (Ini: 12), Robwin (Ini: 9), Wolfsong (Ini: 8) are up.
King Grol, Gralk and Glufs have reached the provisions chamber. They are surveying and discussing the damage animatedly.
