Rinn contemplates Luth's words. "I had a conversation with this beast that trades in magic. He wanted the mage's staff, I think," he holds up the wrapped glass rod, "Not sure if this is it or not, but I'm tempted to trade it in. I mean, the owner has no use for it now." He chuckles at this last comment.
Robwin’s ears prick up at the mentions of magic. “Interesting! Did this creature say what it would trade for the staff?”. You can see Robwin’s brain working from here! “Maybe we should speak with this being at least. See what it has to say... What it has to offer.... .... But maybe after we secure the place and get the townsfolk out of harms way?”.
"Its probably the thing we heard when we first got here," Wolfsong remarks joining the others. "It spoke of raw meat, disturbing thing, go speak with the it if you must but first let us get the prisoners free."
Wolfsong then begins making his way back to the prisoners.
Robwin totally agrees. He’ll do whatever he can to help get the prisoners out and cleaned up with prestidigitation. Then get them red cloaks and weapons from the store room, so they can better look after themselves.
((OOC: I don’t think we should send them past the monster in the crevasse, or past unexplored areas. Does anyone have a safe way out yet? If not they can follow us a room or two behind?))
(( Retracing the route TT took seems to be safest way out of this hideout for the prisoners. She and the others did not encounter the one eyed monster and did not have to cross either bridge across the crevasse. Also, from Luth's knowledge, the passage(s) beyond the double doors in the crypt chamber are heavily trapped. ))
TT would have spoken up about the route they took in. "Luth, would you be interested in escorting these people safely back to town? There would be coin in it for you all of course"
(( Recap: If needed. Robwin has keys to the doors in this Redbrand Hideout. Rinn has keys to the iron locks used in the pens and on the freed people. There is a magic trading creature somewhere down here. You found an Amory that still has about half its supply after equipping those you freed.
The Lab has a bookshelf Robwin noticed but didn't have time to get to. The storage area, were I imagine you are right now, has the pelts and other supplies.
Wolfsong, Rinn and Robwin currently know the layout of the west side of the cavern. Wolfsong and Robwin also know there are at least three goblinkin held up in a room far to the southwest of the Hideout.
Robwin and TT know of the letter from the black spider. TT has it with her.
TT knows too of Mosk, a bugbear lasher, from the black spider. It may be here somewhere.
TT, You are the only party member without dark vision. The storage area and eastern caravan path are lit by the oil lamps Jed tended to. The rest is dark. ))
"Agreed," Wolfsong nods. "My hunt was to find the missing villagers that has been done. Robwin seem interested in looking over the wizard's lab, we should also hall the wizard back to town to he can answer questions. There may still be enemies abound here, if we leave they could take or destroy anything of use before we return, so I would prefer to take care of them one way or another before leaving, I can still pull from the Wilds a bit more so I will use that if it comes to it. Then there is also the matter of the creature, be easier to deal with it after dealing with everything else, maybe even after a rest."
Wolfsong pauses to think for a moment, "Nothing else after that."
Robwin agrees that the party should push on, and make sure no more ruffians remain. He’s exhausted, but they will have ample time to rest when they’ve finished here, victorious.
He would suggest continuing on the way they were heading, until everything is clear, then retracing their steps back the way they came, grabbing any surviving redbrands and the wizard (and doing anything else they needed to on the way out (search the wizards bookshelf, trade with the creature, etc)).
”Onwards!…” he would declare, perhaps sounding more energised than her feels…
(edit…) In addition, with a quick double-double-click in his cheek, he dismisses and re-summons Lia from wherever she was, probably still watching or looking after the prisoners. “I know… have a sleep in my hood if you need to…”.
((Ok I was not sure what the plan was with the prisoners but it makes the most sense for Blaire and the other to take them))
"Robwin has a point," Wolfsong nods. "But I feel it would be best to remove known threats before venturing in the unknow. Let us go back to the goblinkin we heard earlier either make friends, make them leave, or fell them, it will be their choice and if we are lucky they may know what else can be found in this place."
At TT question Wolfsong checks over the scratches he has received in their time in the hideout, "I've had far worse, what of you Robwin, Rinn?"
Once everyone is ready Wolfsong heads towards where they had heard the goblinkin.

Rinn nods, "True. Let's go let them out of this dank hold." He follows Wolfsong back to the cages, keys in hand.

(( TT make a Persuasion roll DC 12 ))
Persuasion: 14
Luth nods, "We can use the coin."
Luth and his two. Blaire, Endure, Cinnaess, the Stonehill goblins and wolves escort the freed people to Phandalin.
What do you all do?
(( Reminder: You're exhausted and running nearly 24 hours without rest. ))
(oof)
Speaking Wolfsong, Robin, and Rinn "Whew, its been a hell of a day, Whats left to take care of in here?"

(OOC - I think Rinn was the only one not to get exhausted. Just couldn't pick a lock to save the prisoners even though that's his thing.)
Rinn nods, "You're probably right. We should make sure there's no more trouble here. I'm good to continue whenever you all are."

With a large yawn TT will ask. "Are any of you hurt? I can heal you a bit before we go on."
(( I believe Blaire and the others took your prisoners with the freed people unless you desire otherwise. ))
Are you heading back through the crypt chamber and the double doors beyond or the door where you heard the goblinkin?
