Whilst keeping an eye out, as best he can, for traps as he goes, Robwin looks around the room, while his detect magic spell is still up, to see if anything magical registers with him in here…
Robwin checks out the contents of the stone wardrobe, and also keeps a look out again to see if there are more hidden exits. This time, he beckons Lia in, to help him…
Robwin, you find dry rotted leather armor. The buckles and rivets are well made and unblemished. There are four thin double edged daggers. In the gray of dark vision it's hard to make anything else out.
With TT's light you can see the armor was once dyed red. You also see the daggers have dwarven runes etched into the blades and the handles have gems so smoothly embedded into them, you couldn't tell With touch or darkvision.
There are no additional secret doors.
The corridor beyond the open south door is caved in all four directions. It looks like you could get through with hours of excavation.
Rinn looks at the cave-in with distaste. "You're not wanting to sit here and pull all that out are you?" he says to the others. "I'm all for getting my hands dirty if we're fighting or perhaps something that needs to be relieved from someone's possessions, but manual labour?"
"No, our job was to clear this place of danger not to dig it out," Wolfsong comments scanning the cave-in. "We should let the miners know about this area, they can clear it out, maybe let us know if they find anything of interest as payment for clearing out the slimes."
Robwin leaves everything he finds where it is. They’re the dwarfs’ belongings after all, he thinks. He’ll let the others know what he’s seen though…
Then he says, ”Yes, this branch of the mine seems clear of danger at least… …Were there still other routes, back from the main room, I think? Maybe we should backtrack and try the other routes? Make sure those branches are clear too?”.
Rinn nods, "Let's make sure the area is clear first. I'd hate to have their ghosts haunting us all because we were hasty in letting them come back in here. But I have to say, it's a bit strange that miners would have such priestly garbs hanging about. Do you think something else was going on here?"
"Agreed," Wolfsong nods. "This hunt may yet be over keep your eyes out. I doubt what Robwin found was from the miners, more likely from who ever was here before. Either way lets head back to the alter chamber then we can choose another path to check."
As you backtrack into the temple chamber and your eyes start adjusting to the brighter light filtering into the main temple chamber, you are called to arms by a set of loud battle horns coming from outside.
As you look out the temple, Wolfsong, you see straight through the hundred and eighty to two hundred feet that separates you from the front gate of the excavation. There is a group of armor clad individuals engaged with a band of Daraktan. They look as through about to fully engage. The dwarf Dazlyn Grayshard has a pick axe in one hand, a warhamer in the other and is racing through the gate-wall near the temple through the community ruins toward the battle. The other dwarf, Norbus Ironrune, looks like he was running toward the temple when he caught view of you. "COME ON! THERE'S MORE TROUBLE THAN ANYONE PLANNED FOR!!!", Ironrune bellows before turning and running after his partner.
Tell us what one successful action we all see Eline, Norman and Tomi each do before we get past the inner gate-wall.
Eline, Norman and Tomi are just past the first gate-wall of the excavation. The twenty foot gap between the eighty foot high stone walls was partially blocked by a large fallen stone door. Tomi and the wagon driver had flipped the wagon on the door, cutting the mules free to tighten the entry way for the oncoming Orcs. As Norman and Tomi let out a call to arms blast of their war horns, the driver had fallen taking one of the smaller warriors with him. Four more are charging you and more are fighting with each other to get through the gate.
Eline shrugs off her great axe, griping it in both hands. Digging in her heels, her emerald eyes flashing dangerously, and gritting her teeth, she braces herself for the onslaught. She trembles with the adrenaline, drumming up memories of her training with Master MacKenzie. She calls up the wrath and unspeakable anguish she felt when she walked in on mother's dead frame.
"Tempus," she utters a breathless prayer to her god, stepping toward the oncoming orcs, "grant me thy strength!"

Robwin dashes after Wolfsong to the entrance of the mine…
As he runs, he secures a cumbersome, large, blue, mystical egg under one arm, like a football, and holds down his ancient, pointed, wizard’s hat to his head, to stop it from flying off, with the other!
By contrast, his short, orange apprentice robes, are nothing but practical, and don’t seem to get in the way at all.
Tomi draws out a shortbow, and begins showering arrows down on the incoming orcs. Norman, nearly as armored as Eline, draws his longsword, and to the first orc who reaches the three of them, cuts with a downward stroke. Eline cries out a battle cry, and whirling around, catches an orc in the gut with her axe.
