Rinn hops down from his vantage point and nocks an arrow, keeping an eye on the feasting manticore as he makes his way over to the others. "You think that's the same manticore that was bothering the miss at the windmill?" Catching the newcomers out of the corner of his eye, "Nice work there, though I'm glad we came when we did. Forgive me if I keep watching that thing up there," he points up with the tip of his nocked arrow.
Norman slumps against the opposite wall (north side) from Rinn trying to see. He shakes his head.
"You've got to be kidding me. Easy pay. Delivery. Two well guarded digs. Then back to Leilon. No. Ravaging Orcs. Half the crew dead.. Deserted canyon. Monstrous Beasts. Wild Northmen."
Nodding toward Eline he adds, "I think your Lord of Battles might have taken more of an interest in you than is good for anyone."
"I have a heavy crossbow on the wagon if we need it."
"Please tell me this is actually the Abbathor dig and we're not in the completely wrong place at the wrong time."
"Yes. This is Abbathor. We weren't expecting any delivery.", Ironrune says.
"I can't see what you're all staring at. Too bright out here. I know what a manticore is. If it isn't coming this way, well I don't know what actually." The dwarf shakes his head.
"Anyone have a Waterskin?", he asks
"I would like to get one drink before we check the dead, that wagon or that beast." He ways vaguely in the direction of each as he speaks.
Breathing heavily, and shouldering her greataxe, Eline limps over to Norman, resting a hand on his shoulder, and says, "He takes as much interest as any, I guess. We likely are in the right place, Norm. Just need to get our bearings." She stares up at the place where the manticore is feasting, watching it carefully.
She winces in pain as the adrenaline of battle wears off, and her bleeding wounds on her shoulder and hip and waves of pain through her. Slumping to the ground, dropping her axe, she groans.

As the fires of the hunt start to wain Wolfsong's body begins to revert to its normal state, he casts his gaze to the manticore before answering Rinn, "The Wilds truly smile on us if it is. Finally have a chance to see which of us The Wilds have blessed."
Wolfsong gives small chuckle that turns into a wince of pain as the battle wounds finally catch up to him, he had taken more damage in that fight then he would have liked. Hearing Ironrune's request Wolfsong digs his waterskin out of his back and passes it to the dwarf then turns to his companions, "TT could I trouble you for some healing, took a few more hits than I would have liked and if we are taking on the manticore next I would like it to be a more even fight."
Wolfsong walks over to strangers and stands over the one in heavier armor, a small smile on his face, "You fight well, I am Wolfsong, you stole my kill but I will let is pass as it was your hunt to start and we joined in without asking first. What should I call you?"
Eline looks up at Wolfsong, who had previously been a beastly wolf-like creature on the battlefield, ripping and tearing where he went. She smiles weakly back at him. "I'm Eline. Eline Rygr. You fought well yourself, and I hope to make up for stealing your kill!" She grips her shoulder tightly, trying to stem the flow of blood. She feels weak and unable to stand at the moment. "You have any healers about?"

As the last enemy falls, Robwin jogs up to the party, then past, and out ahead towards the wagon, so that the wagon and the exit-route to the mine and the ravine is in view.
He quickly checks there are no enemies left and the immediate threat is gone before circling back around to the party and these new people.
”Is everyone okay? What happened here?…”.
Since Eline asks for healing, he hands her one of his potions of healing. He doesn’t mind if she uses it right away or saves it for later. “Here you go…”.
Robwin looks like a young, elven wizard, in short, orange-and-white, apprentice robes from the Neverwinter academy. Except he has a big, old, floppy, pointed, wizard’s hat, with a wide brim, and an ancient looking ‘blue moon egg’ grasped like a crystal ball in one hand.
He almost looks like a wizard’s apprentice who has raided his professor’s room and taken his hat and orb without asking.
A small orange-and-white owl perches on his shoulder.
"Well, we could attack the manticore," Rinn shrugs, "Though it feels rude to interrupt dinner. I mean, it is just eating an orc after all." He looks around at all the orc corpses, then smiles and gives a sweeping gesture as he looks up at the manticore and calls out, "Dinner is served!" and he laughs again.
((So irl is just really tough right now. I am going to have to bow out and go on hiatus for now. Things are quite difficult at the moment. See you all soon!))

(( @SpieltJoos - Bwahaha!!! ))
(( @LostLeonin - Keep that attack. You can toss it down for Wolfsong the next time he wiffs an attack. ))
The last standing fighter drops in front of Wolfsong with the fletch of an arrow sticking out of its eye.
Rinn, TT, Lia, The manticore is still casually devouring a body of one the smaller raiders. It seems to be watching you all.
Grayshard collapses against the wall (coming out of rage) heaving heavily gesturing toward the overturned wagon.
Ironrune nods. "Right, What in hells is go'n on an who are ya?"
Norman barks out a cruel laugh, "Who are we?! Who are you? Where are the soldiers?!"
(( That's the scene. You're all on! ))
