If all enemies are fleeing, Robwin will probably just push on steadily down the stairs behind TT. He would ask, “Do we need to take care of these fleeing undead, TT? Will they eventually turn on us?”.
If so, he’ll attempt another fire bolt at the nearest undead (assuming there are no spiders left not fleeing)…
Eline is responding to the situation much as Robwin is; with a bit of bewilderment. She makes her way to Rinn on the floor. She bends down to check on him. Pushing the arachnid carcass away.
The light from the fire on the upper floor reveals spiders fleeing. You can now see easily the top of the other stairwell across this chamber, sixty feet from you, also lit up. Spiders are escaping from it too into this forty foot high chamber.
Between the light from the northern wall and the fires light from the stai wells above, you can make out 7 Spiders skittering across the ceiling and walls as well as 20 Ghouls many of which are about to duck into various rooms and antichambers however a handful are still within easy reach of the base of the stairs.
((Just a reminder, although it hasn’t been needed in combat yet, Wolfsong is still affected by the spider climb spell. I’m not saying to use it. Just a reminder you have it for the rest of the hour, if needed)).
At the bottom of the stairs you are at the bottom of an open stone staircase. About fifteen feet to your right is a wall. If you turn toward that wall, another staircase leading down is again to your right.
The rest of the room stretches out sixty feet from desending staircase to desending staircase and about twenty feet to the open slits where light is filtering through and thirty feet back.
There appear to be some doors on each side of the chamber about halfway between the staircase and the exterior wall.
Creeping onward, reaching the bottom of the first set of stairs with the party, Robwin whispers, “Remind me again why we’re here?!!… The place seems overrun with spiders and undead!!…”. He keeps a constant look behind for spiders and ahead for undead.
"To clear it of those things," Wolfsong responds quietly trying to shake the ichor of the spider from his hands as his rage cools and he returns to his normal appearance. "It is a good hunt to sharpen our skills, enemies can come from any direction, teaches us to be ready for anything."
Looking around Wolfsong thinks for a moment before asking, "Can anyone tell where we are in relation to that door that was locked keeping those others out?"
"Well, you took that fall and your not even phased, are you?", Eline asks with not a little awe. Standing next to Rinn and the dead spiders. Now able to better see the situation.
Cleaver moves to try for another near by spider running away from the stairs releasing his tail spikes.
Attack 1: 6 Hit: 10
Attack 2: 16 Hit: 6
Attack 3: 6 Hit: 4

Cleaver misses twice with his spikes. He does hit one spider as it continues to race away.
