There are a lot of fences on the ranch! Robwin sends Lia the Owl out, with her superior perception, and great fly-speed, to find breaks, holes and gaps, and report back. He then goes out to complete the relatively simple job of just hammering the boards back together where needed, to fix the fences:-
((oh no, cheat marker! Doh, I thought I’d worked out what causes it. I’m starting to think I just shouldn’t edit posts with rolls ever! This time, I’m sure it said 17 before anyway though. Sorry! If you ever just like a fresh re-roll on these let me know))
(( @Grwobert, I'm not worried about at this time. I think @DirtyDogP posted a really good "How-To" on avoiding this issue though in the thread and there is a faq thread too if you keep running into problems. You can just "quote" a previous reply if you think something technical is glitches. ))

Blaire will lead the attempt to get the early vegetables planted. It is not a complex task. It is one that just takes some grit and effort. (Athletics: 21)

The efforts pay off aided by each of the party and Big Al as they are able, the planting gets done and she inadvertently stumbles into some hardy tubers and root vegetables that hadn't been dug up yet, securing the food supply.
You have more than earned the money Big Al promised for your help.
He gives the party total of 2 pp, 23 gp, 46 sp, and 48 cp as well as well prepared rations for three days for each member.
((Robwin: You learned from Lia the Orcs kept a fast pace west until after some time they cut south into the dense Neverwinter Forest.))
((OOC: Who in the party ended up with the chain mail?))
((OOC: Does anyone have any idea how a Religion proficiency would've be useful in this scenario?))
It is 3 Kythorn, 1492 DR, predawn. You are prepared to leave Big Al’s ranch and enjoying a hardy breakfast with him.
Big Al says, "I understand your concerns, but I'm staying here. Don't be too worried, the wagons from my east trades should be arriving any day now. I'll square up from there. If you would, though, deliver this missive to Elmar Barthen and that horse we'll load with the butter delivery to Phandalin. That should be enough to get the supplies I need and have them delivered as well as keep my business going. If you ever want a few days work as temp hands, just drop in. I will be sure you're paid for the delivery too once I'm through this patch. Now, what all have you planned?"
(OOC: I believe I still have it, is it Elven Chain or Chain Mail? I was looking at that but wasn't able to come up with anything other than helping with the funeral pyre.. IE providing eulogy and such)

Yeah, that was all I could think of too, but seemed redundant to the story given as multiple faith traditions had already offered prayers for the dead that first evening.
I will say, IRL, believing there is something looking out for you overall when Ranching or Farming seems to makes the day to day chaos more manageable unless it goes down hill for a decade or so, then you just have to be all sorts of stubborn and obstinate just to get up every morning... guess the moral is, cut grumpy farmers and ranchers some slack, they're probably due. LOL! ))
Robwin is exhausted from his experiences at the ranch: the fight, the manual labour, his visions, everything.
Since Big Al is determined to stay on the ranch, he’ll warn him (and the rest of the party) that Lia found out that the Orcs fled into the Neverwinter Forest.
After breakfast, Robwin will pack up his things and will be ready to head back towards Phandalin when everyone else is.
Rinn is feeling tired but proud of his efforts on the farm. As the new day dawns for them to travel back to Phandalin, he awaits the others outside excitedly, raring to be on the road again.
(( OOC: Hey! I hope you are all enjoying this twist on long existing campaigns. If something isn't quite working for you, private message me and we'll see what we can do.
"Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything" content is now enabled for this campaign. I haven't poured over the book, so if you find something neat, you would like to incorporate, bring it to my attention in private message.
I am open to incorporating the new material into our campaign.
I don't think rewriting a character from the ground up is necessarily a good idea, but shifting class or subclass and adjusting personality as the story and character develop make sense to me.
I made about everything that isn't a hard core spoiler (and some that is) available for the campaign.
As always, if you have the funds and find it desirable, toss dndbeyond some coin by making your own purchase.
As I shared before if you run into something your character doesn't or wouldn't know, try to play them that way.
Lastly, I am a big believer in ideals, flaws, alignments, etc. as starting guide posts for a PC.
I would be shocked if they didn't change over time and experience. ))

The party leaves the ranch leading the pack laddened horse. By early morning, about two hours travel, they again reach Connyberry without issue and pass through.
You're making good time.
Coming into late afternoon, you start to feel uneasy.
(Everyone make a perception check. I already checked passive perception.
Ikki: Keen sight grants you an advantage.)
Blaire Perception [ roll ] 1d20 + 5 [ / roll ] = 21
(OOC: I preordered the book on there so I spent some time today looking over the subclasses and playing with the origin features. I think its a awesome change!)
Wolfsong, Blaire and TT: While everyone on the ground is starting to feel uneasy, you three understand why, it is quite; an abnormal silence around the trail area.
Wolfsong and Blaire: You spot the cause, there are goblins hidden and sneakily following the party, hidden in the shrubs and bushes. You count six all together; two on the south side and the others in the forest perimeter on the north side. You, of course, are heading west to the Triboar Trail crossroads to Phandalin but have another night and day of travel to get there. The goblins clearly don't know you noticed them and neither does your party. (( OOC: Rolled a 19 on their Stealth check. ))

Robwin: You're well rested despite feeling exhausted. You are certain you feel every muscle in your body as do the rest of the party.
Those more athletic or flexible; more physically oriented are more accustomed to the experience.
Still it's very satisfying to realize you were a very tangible part of this successful though grueling effort.

Is there a math thing going on or a feature in a familial I am forgetting?
Owl Passive Perception 13 = 10 + 3
(The plus three is Proficiency Bonus of 2 and Wisdom modifier of 1)
The same is true for checks.
Owl Active Perception check is 1d20 + 3 with advantage (Keen sight)
The info cards and dndbeyond sheets try to help by doing a lot of small math for us.
