Eline see Rinn and TT, mutters, "Right, range, Tempus, aid me.", and casts Sacred Flame on one of the Ghouls closest to them, just within the sixty feet range.

As is could be expected, they (gD) are ineffective, flailing their torches more than actually fighting.
The archers take down another six Ghouls.
Their are now eight Ghouls in this gauntlet engaged with Robwin and sixteen militia twenty-five feet from the portcullis and fifty to sixty feet from the rest of the party to the south. The six archers are at the portcullis.
The shot is so fast and efficient that it takes the ghoul and Dwarf it is engaged with a moment to realize the creature is no longer functional. The fetching of Rinn's arrow sticking out behind the ghoul had punctured heat, lung and spine. Leaving the ghoul completely immobilized for a moment before its true death.

Seeing Rinn's arrow take another ghoul down Wolfsong laughs and nudges Cleaver with his elbow, "We better pick up the pace, Rinn is starting to show us up." Wolfsong levels his crossbow and takes another shot at the ghoul he shot last round while Cleaver fires off another tail spike.
((Oh no! Protecting the militia is Robwin’s main objective. He would never do anything to harm even one of them. He would have done something else if allowed or angle his blast to hit only one ghoul rather than any militia at all :-( Let me know if we can change that)).

While one Ghoul rolls away from a green flame another is engulfed by a deep wine-red flame, squealing in pain but a moment being immolated to ash.

Another group charge in the twenty-five feet from the portcullis to engage.

Picks, hammers, etc. Attack: 9 to hit;one creature. Hit: 7 bludgeoning damage.

Robwin clearly tries to avoid the militia, but half the melee crowd gets caught in the blast with the remaining ghouls in the gauntlet.
While, Robwin, you can feel the weakness of the blast when it leaves you, it lays low all those in its path; Ghoul and Militia alike.
How does Robwin feel about this outcome?
The other half of the melee militia are stunned. Many of them drop their weapons and torches while a few drop to their knees.
Combat is effectively ended; for now.

It was random that any ended up in the blast.
I don't think in the moment of battle, Robwin had expected to hit many if any of the militia.
It was a complete fluke.
Clearly, Robwin is thinking, "Yes! Followed immediately by "No! No! No!"
What is he doing/saying?
What is the rest of the party doing?
