"Hail, if you are after gold you won't be finding much here, nor much in the way of supplies, if it is something else you seek then speak."
Wolfsong: The Half-Elf, Eli, looks up to you from their position next to TT and says, "We're on an errand of our own for Ms. Gwynn, who lives here, and for the Townmaster of Phandalin. What brought you here; just hunting?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Upon hearing that her companions were gone TT will silently bow her head and begin a prayer to Kelemvor. Once completed she will stand and walk over to Robwin. "Please dont be so hard on yourself, none of us were prepared for something like that."
Reaching out and touching his shoulder she will cast cure wounds for 6 points of healing
Turning her head back to Eli "We were hired to transport some goods to the midwife here."
Hearing her kind words, and feeling the vitality return to him a little from her very touch, Robwin turns to TT with a smile. He tries to nod, and he tries to say something,... but his nod becomes a shake of his head, and his face breaks, and he collapses into the arms of his friend...
After a moment he moves back, dries his eyes, and says “Thank you... you’re right...” and bows his head, gently nodding again.
Then he looks at her, concern on his face, and says, “The town is not prepared...”.
TT accepts the food with a smile. "Thank you Ms. Gwynn. If these are the people youve been waiting for then I think, once everyone is recovered enough, we will be breaking camp soon." Looking over at Robwin and nodding in agreement " We need to return to town as soon as possible and let everyone know there is a dragon in the area. "
"Aye," Wolfsong says with a nod to Eli's question. "A ways east of here I came across a farm where they had some cattle taken by the manticore, I could not pass up a hunt like that. They pointed me this direction, and when I was heading up to the mill I came across these folk delivering some goods, then I talked to the midwife who told me some sellswords had scared the beast off and may know more, I suppose your group would be those sellswords. Once the manticore is taken care of I will be keep to the area, gather up some supplies, and go after that dragon next."
Rinn looks around at the party as Ms. Gwynn refers to a missing person, then nods. "He upped and disappeared. But we've made some new friends now." He smiles, then remembering the tea, he goes back to straining it and pouring out some for the newcomers.
Somewhat refreshed from the tea and some rest, Robwin approaches Wolfsong and TT. “Have we packed up the traded supplies from Ms Gwynn? I guess we should think about heading on back to Phandalin. We still need to fulfil this contract”.
He turns to Adabra Gwynn, “Ms Gwynn, who wanted these supplies did you say again?... Oh and do you want us to stay with you, in case the Manticore returns? Or will you be okay now? I’d hate to leave you in danger. Do you want to travel with us into town? It may be safer there”.
And then to Rinn and the others, “Where are you headed now? If you’re here about the dragon, maybe some of our goals might align, in the short term at least?”.
"TT, dear, it will be full dark soon enough. Let's get all your gear down to the old fireplace. If any more winged monsters show, you can all pile into the windmill fast enough. You can set off for Phandalin first thing in the morning.", comforts Ms. Gwynn
Ms. Gwynn returns to the windmill and begins putting everything together after reminding Eli she'll have the writ he bargained for and she had two potion of healing available at half price (25gp) as promised.
Eli and Blaire start helping pack up everything possible to the wagon next to the windmill and move the bare necessities for one evening's rest to the old fireplace as the midwife suggested.
"I can tell you three are exhausted and it was already a long journey for us to get here.", Blaire says trying to convince the three strangers a full night's rest huddled closer to the windmill is a good idea. She's even trying hard not to be crass in her speech.
"Besides, that midwife will want to show the Elf and Bird everything she's doing to finish upthat oil and her herbal packs.", she chuckles, "She took a fast liking to them both quick as lightning."
Robwin will agree to stay the night, and will help load the wagons and move the camp nearer to the windmill.
Before settling down to rest, Robwin will seek out the midwife again “Ms Gwynn, a couple of questions if I may... I am student of the arcane, and a... collector of sorts... You wouldn’t happen to know where I might find anything magical in nature? Artefacts, books, spells, and the like?..... and also, you seem good with concoctions... I came across this” he pulls out a tiny jar of incense that smells very bad ((random trinket 64 from PHB)) “You wouldn’t happen to know what it is, or whether it has any interesting properties?”.
Aside from that, Robwin will settle down to 4 hours trance, with Lia the Owl keeping watch from the sky. After which, he’ll let Lia rest and will gladly keep a watch himself while others sleep.
TT will help pack up and move the camp, taking care to retrieve the belongings of her companions that were taken, promising herself to find their next of kin. She works with a smile and humming a happy tune. Once moved she will spend a bit praying again and put herself in for an evenings rest.
"That does look and smell like an alchemical base, but I don't know what it is specifically."
"There are or were stories of magic in the mountains and in the wilderness around though I admit I don't remember the tails myself. Perhaps ask some of the longer lived folk near Phandalin."
TT: You and Robwin are now the only members of your small company from Neverwinter. You have a small wagon, a cart really, two mule, one doe brown, one gray, three tents, five bedrolls, rucksacks, rations.
Specific you find items from each of companion.
Blenn, 17 cp, a set of common clothes, a dagger and a very dark green shield made from an enormous scale, perhaps from a dragon. Caz, 14 sp, a set of Common clothes, a pair of nice boots and a rope necklace from which dangles four mummified elf fingers Tess, 10 gp, a set of fine clothes, a pair of nice shoes and an old chess queen made from glass.
Tess you know the least about. You know you can follow up with a missive to the delivery headquarters in Neverwinter regarding all three of them.
You're certain that anything deeply personal was lost when the dragon took them.

Turning her head back to Eli "We were hired to transport some goods to the midwife here."
It is early twilight.
Ms. Gwynn and Ikki come over the crest of the hill loaded down a bit with food stuffs and medicinal supplies.
She's very happy to see Rinn and the others and shares condolences with Robwin and TT.
She hands out a pie (a large apple sized roll of dense bread with meats, vegetables and herbs baked into it).
"TT, dear, do you want to move the camp down near the old fireplace? There is no need to keep watch up here, this is the company I was waiting for."
"Rinn, it's good to see you and your companions. Aren't you short one?"
Hearing her kind words, and feeling the vitality return to him a little from her very touch, Robwin turns to TT with a smile. He tries to nod, and he tries to say something,... but his nod becomes a shake of his head, and his face breaks, and he collapses into the arms of his friend...

Eli hears Rinn and slowly shakes his head.
"Varius stayed on in Gnomengarde. He's learning their way of farming I guess.", Eli adds. Blaire scoffs loudly in amusement.
Eli looks at Blaire a bit then continues, "We do have your oils and tinctures from Ms. Tervaround."
"Oh, wonderful dear.", Ms. Gwynn replies to Eli
"TT, dear, it will be full dark soon enough. Let's get all your gear down to the old fireplace. If any more winged monsters show, you can all pile into the windmill fast enough. You can set off for Phandalin first thing in the morning.", comforts Ms. Gwynn
TT, Ribwin, Wolfsong: You each get (1d4) healing from the wonderfully smelling, bitter tasting tea Rinn brewed for you.
(OOC: Do we need to roll that d4?)
This time take +4; next time, yes, you roll ... could always be a bad batch. :-)

Robwin thanks Ms Gwynn for the information, and settles down for the night.
Lia the owl keeps watch, over everyone, from the sky.
