Rinn understands Sylvan, but makes no mention or move to the like, he just listens throughout. He also speaks Draconic, continuing with his ruses of ignorance. Once away from Venomfang, Rinn will nod to Olsihla, "I am one who is known as Rinn, but I have met others. You seem a long way from home. What brings you to these parts of the Neverwinter Woods, Osihla?"
Olsihla guides you left (east) another sixty feet (18 m) to another T where she turns right (south) another eighty feet (24 m).
You pass a ruined shop cluttered with sagging storage shelves and broken furniture. Shards of glass and pieces of pottery glint in the weeds and rubble next to rotted books and casks visible past the crumbled western wall.
To the right (west) you see a wide chimney and rotted piles of firewood jumbled outside the walls of a sagging building suggest that it was a smithy in its day.
You travel another hundred eighty feet (55 m), part of the path cutting through a completely ruined building, to an old small farm house. All the doors and shutters appear closed.
You can see the barracks where you stayed the night roughly a hundred eighty feet (55 m) up the path to your left (north).
When you arrive Olsihla opens a large gunny sack sitting on the porch. She pulls out and puts on black leather pants, black tunic, thigh high black leather boots, a black cloak that looks like it is made to resemble dragon wings and a black horned mask. She also sheaths a few more daggers, two are built with the blade slanted sharply back like a guard on a pair of knuckles.
She packs her robes into the sack.
"Humans are so over dramatic and impractical.", she says in Sylvan.
Then facing you she says, "Shall we seek an audience?"
To Rinn, Olsihla says, "I was sent by my family to learn of the 'dragon cult' they had heard rumors of. From what I have seen, the rumors are gross exaggeration."
Olsihla pulls the dagger she just sheathed and uses it to knock on the door. In draconic she says loudly, "Open! I have news from our lord!"
There is rustling before the door cracks open slightly.
"Open up! Call Favric! We have orders from our lord Venomfang!"
The person at the door stutters. Then in common they holler out, "Damn it! Someone help! It's the snake girl and talking too fast."
There is a hard slam and the door shuts.
Olsihla curses in draconic, "useless cretins", she hisses in a low venomous tone.
The door swings wide open and Olsihla is immediately regal grace again.
The athletic young human male in the door, smiles wide and greats you all in draconic, "Olsihla! Your appeal to our load was successful? Who are your friends?" His eyes reveal a small wariness.
Silenus listens to the draconic exchange without comprehending any of it. But he does begin to gather that the guys in the shack are more pretender than threat and that they're all a little afraid of Olshila.
"Yo, dude, I'm Silenus," Silenus says to Favric. "Just met Olshila here but we're working on a rad deal with Venomfang. Going to deal with a big Black Spider pick up something cool and maybe turn this town into an awesome little resort."
"Like I said, dude, I'm Silenus," Silenus says, then pulls out his pan flute and plays a couple of notes, "wanderer, traveler, adventurer, and all around awesome."
He looks around for a moment then adds. "Rinn's around here somewhere. Probably keeping an eye on you to, you know, make sure you're not going to jump us or something gnarly like that. Rinn dude is smart like that."
Silenus looks at the mask for a moment.
"Nice costume. Anyway, we're going to go find whatever the Black Spider is looking for and, like, take it first. Do you know what that is?"
Rinn, having followed from a little ways back, sees the friendly exchange and approaches, hand on the riteknife hilt and longbow in hand, but with this half-mask disguise applied. He simply nods to the robed captain as Favric removes his mask.
Favric digs through a satchel under his cloak and pulls a note from it. Olsihla quickly snatches it from him, opens it and begins reading.
Favric looks at her for a moment then speaks, "That missive came from a group or person calling themselves 'Black Spider'. They claim to be searching for an ancient local relic. I don't know what exactly they are looking for, but they give a place to meet to 'join the cause'... They don't specify what they are looking for.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Oh sweet," Silenus says, looking at the document before passing it to Rinn. "Hmm. Wave Echo Cave?"
Silenus tries to remember if he'd heard of anything like that in the pubs and taverns he frequented before coming down the Triboar Trail. History/Arcana: 12
(( Meanwhile, back in Phandalin, in the alchemist lab, in the basement of the Tresendar Manor, Robwin is comforting his young alchemist in training who is vomiting into a bucket. Naz, the Nothic, is cackling perched on a wall and the elder one is sewing his right hand back on. "You poor girl. That was particularly gruesome.", the elder one says while pulling the stitch tight. Naz nods his head fervently, "No structure, all goo!"
"Structure!", Robwin hollers. "What if we used your bones?", he asks.
"Wouldn't work.", the girl breaths out whipping her mouth.
Naz looks to her, "Explain, Explain."
She takes a deep shaky breath, "The bones are decomposing human flesh. The elder one is a biochemical entity from outside our realm. Using the bones would reintroduce the same issues the current host has."

Silenus takes in the tour of the village and nods as they go along.
”This could be a totally nice place with some work. Venomfang should let some some of those gnarly hobgoblins move in. They’d fix the place up.”
Silenus nods that he’s ready to enter the building to find the dragon cultists.

In Sylvan, Olsihla says, "Introduce yourselves in common if you speak the tongue. I understand it though it feels foul across my tongue."
In draconic, Olsihla says, "Favric, my captain, our lord Venomfang, graced me with his name and a mission to prove our loyalty."

Olsihla hands the missive to Silenus. In Sylvan, she asks, "Have either of you heard of Wave Echo Cave?"
The missive claims the rise of a new power through claiming an ancient local relic and the need to gather at Wave Echo Cave.
Like the notes seen before they are 'signed' with a black spider.
"Oh sweet," Silenus says, looking at the document before passing it to Rinn. "Hmm. Wave Echo Cave?"

(( Silenus doesn’t recall hearing about the cave. ))
Silenus shakes his head and looks over at Rinn.
"Does that mean anything to you? Wave Echo Cave?" Silenus asks. "Whoa, is it like full of water that runs back and forth?"
