Aimon, you approach the guards trying to hug the walls the best you can and using the shadows to your advantage. You manage to make near the one of the guards without being noticed. As you stretch your hand out to take the key ring, the guard sees a clicker of movement out of the corner of his eye and faster than you can blink, he whips out the blade and slashes at you.
Drow Elite Warrior Shortsword Attack: Attack: 20 Damage: 7 with an additional Attack: 20 Damage: 22
That came out weird. Anyways, take 8 slashing damage and 23 poison damage as the blade pierces you.
(Edit: I don't know how you could take 23 poison damage if the sword only does an extra 3d6 poison, so I rerolled it with my dice and you instead take 8 slashing damage and 9 poison damage)
Ilvara turns around to see what the commotion is, and when she sees what happens, she rolls her eyes and says in Undercommon, "Daevarix, you moron!" She continues, exasperated . "Well, take him out of the cell so I can heal him."
The drow who dealt the blow, Daevarix, rushes over, pushes Zack aside, and unceremoniously drags you outside the cell. He is doing this hastily as if he fears what Ilvara might do to him of he doesn't hurry. She and the rest of the drow and quaggoth file out of the cell. Shoor says over his shoulder as he exits, "Come out here and begin cleaning what you were told."
Ilvara kneels over Aimon and while clutching a symbol of Lolth attached to a necklace and mutters a quiet prayer as her other hand hovers over the wound. A shimmering blue light emanates from her palm and you all watch as Aimon's wound knots together.
Aimon, you come to consciousness with 5 hit points. As your eyes flutter open and you gasp for breath, you see Ilvara kneeling over just before she backhands you across the face. "Never try anything like that again," she forcefully commands as rises to her feet. She looks to the rest of you as you filter out of the cell.
"Get to work," she says brusquely before her and the the drow leave you with the quaggoth.
One of the quaggoth says, "Yeah. Get to work," in a low and slurred voice.
Zack helps console Topsy, but tries to with haste. He does his best to help Topsy with everything while also keeping up his own pace. His heart was breaking for her. He made sure to try to smuggle anything that resembled wood or a piece of string or any stone.

You were put in charge of cleaning the area that serves as the dining room, greeting hall, and cellar. Topsy tries her best to clean, but can't do much in her state. Stool, having no hands, can't do much. The majority of the work that was meant for three people falls to you. Occasionally, a drow would come in to check on you. As you worked, you managed to find 3 small stones that you think would be suitable. You manage to hide them on your body without the quaggoth attendant noticing or caring. A few hours in, two or three drow come in and begin throwing small darts at Stool to amuse themselves. They do this for several minutes before becoming bored and leaving, but not before Topsy pulls out the darts and gives them to the guards.
Caelynn helps Aimon to stand and quickly checks to make sure he's okay. Afterwards, she looks to Jimjar and Alkanos for directions, having no clue where the shrine she's supposed to be cleaning with them is.
After you ask where the shrine is, Jimjar responds, "It's in the largest stalactite that is closed to the other side of Velkynvelve." He leads you, Alkanos , and the quaggoth assigned to you across the bridge that leads to the guard tower and gets on another bridge that stretches to an outcropping near a waterfall. He then walks up a steep, short bridge that connects to a large stalactite. He pushes open the large wooden door and reveals a chamber about 30 wide. In the center of the room is a large, obsidian status of Lolth raised up on a dias. The statue of Lolth has 13 small gemstones set into the face that act as eyes. They reflect The low purple light of runes. The floor of the room is covered in woven, black threads that extend up the walls and attach to the ceiling. These black strands resemble a large spider web with the statue in the center. A small metal bucket is near the statue, and it has several rags next to it. The far side of the room has several small chairs that have red velvet padding. There is a drow woman dressed in similar robes similar to Ilvara's with less elaborate designs with her back to you as you enter. She is kneeling before the statue, and appears to be quietly praying.

Aimon walks with Trill and the drow to the barracks for their cleaning duty.
”Well, that didn’t go quite as planned. But I think we did learn she wants us alive at least for now.”
As Aimon cleans the barracks he also searches for any small bits of metal or wire that could be used as a makeshift set of thieves tools as well as anything else that could double as a weapon; but that he can still hide from any search.
Alkanos couldn't blame Aimon for trying, but without a concerted plan his actions had no chance of working. The paladin could only watch as the half-elf was struck down. To his surprise Ilvara brought him back to consciousness, a fact he could only explain if they drow desperately needed their workforce to mantain this place. After the spectacle had ended, he joined Jimjar and the new arrival Caelynn to work inside the shrine of Lolth, a duty he found especially degrading. Inside they found a drow woman praying. She was alone apparently and for a second he considered to use this opportunity to kill her on the spot. The Aasimar remembered Aimon's actions though. Without a plan this would achieve nothing. Nonetheless for a moment he just stood there staring at her going through his options.
As you begin cleaning, you both notice behind those chairs is a trapdoor that appears to be made out of the same material as the bridges. You also notice that nestled between the wall and webbing is a massive, black, and hairy spider. It's beady eyes watch you as you work. Jimjar whispers to both of you, " That's Asha." He doesn't seem to notice the spider.
As you begin cleaning the shrine room, the woman stands and leaves the room after about 5 minutes. She kicks over the bucket of water as she leaves and sarcastically says, "Oops."
The barracks you are cleaning are a set of caves that extend back about 30 feet. The are several cots works with padding on top in each cave that act as sleeping pads for the drow. At the base of each cot is a small chest. There are 2 drow in the room sitting crossed-legged that appear to be meditating. Aimon knows that they are sleeping in an elven trance. There are no cleaning supplies, so you have to use your tongue. Trill, you manage to scrape some sort of the bottom of some shoes and you rip a little of the padding off and hope that is wool. Aimon, you find a splinter of jagged metal that looks like it was broken off of a blade that could act as thieves tools.
Aimon slips the metal into his ragged closing and then whispers to Trill. “If we’re fairly quiet these two won’t notice us. I don’t want you to risk yourself but if you’re willing to keep watch, I can do a quick search of these chests.”
