Being one of the last ones to perform the ritual and enter the room, Irommek wasn’t sure how it was supposed to work really. Flapping the feather in one hand and orchid in the other, he entered the room and was about to make a smart-ass comment that he felt like a deranged bird, performing a bizarre dance but stumbled into a scene with a giant snake-thing and everyone bowing in front of it. Standing stupefied for a moment, he closed his mouth hanging open in awe and decided that he would just bow, listen and let the others talk. The last thing that he wanted to do was swallow another snake, especially one that size.
As the others agreed to take on yet another foe, he just shrugged and spoke up at last.
“Sounds like it’ll be quite the story to tell others some day…” and then a bit softer added, “if we live through it.”
“Count me in your highness, um all-knowingness. If this Ras Nsi is responsible for the undead beasties on this island, I would love to introduce him to my hammer.”
After another uncomfortable bow, Irommek pulled out his map and began to calculate the location of Omu and distance from their current location.

Saja N'Baza:" Now, I bid you farewell. Live long and prosper. "
Light.
In a blink of an eye, the guardian and the fancy shrine disappear into nothingness. The adventurers find themselves in the same room on the top of the ziggurat, now empty and dusty. Only the smell of incense remains.
Irommek swoons at the infusion of magic and smiles brightly. Hearing Saja N'Baza’s departing farewell, he searches his memory.
“Seems I’ve heard that saying before…huh, must be an elvish thing.”
Turning to the others he says, “Well, that was exciting. I don’t know about you but strangely enough I’m starving, even after digesting that snake earlier. Shall we camp here for the night and recover from those that had a harder time with the reptile snack or start making our way to Omu?”

Exiting the temple Felix feeling a little more heroic. He starts to think about the days of waterdeeps and his family and he quickly pushes those feelings down. Snapping back to reality, Jon is Artus and getting him back to the port is his mission.
"So, now that we got a little more information, could we rest up here, those snakes took a lot out of me."

OOC: Using cartographer’s tools to determine distance and best path to Omu (19)
Irommek's magic compass tell him that the location of Omu is not far at all from their current path. The Valey of Lost Honor is where Hrakhamar is located and the Peaks of Flame are just 60-70 miles away from the Valley. It would take 12-16 days to get to Omu from the shipwreck.
Artus, after few minutes of absolute silence pondering over what he learned from the Guardian, speaks to the party:"I apologize for the deception, but I had...I have good reasons. Yes, my name is Artus Cimber. We should rest here for the night. What are your plans? Are we going straight to Omu?"
"Well, for tonight I would say we camp here, it is probably safer than in the jungle.
Then, well, we are going to Omu it seems. But we have given our words to Musharib and Inete that we would help them. Trusting in ironmek skills, I would say we check the airship, help musharib and Inete then Omu. What do you say ?
Artus:"I understand. I propose we go together to the Basin, and then to the airship. We can split before getting in the Valley of Lost Honor. While you help Musharib, Dragonbait and I can start searching for the exact spot of Omu. When you can come back from the Valley, look in the sky for a giant eagle made of ice. That will be to signal our position."
OOC The following is meant for Kurma only. He will decide whether or not to share it with the rest of the group.
Later in the evening, Inete takes aside Kurma to speak with him privately:" Listen, Kurma. I trust enough Artus, he seems a good-hearted man. Although his story is still unclear. Chultans knows that Mezro was destroyed over a century ago. Now we know that it wasn't destroyed but just moved. Still, Artus looks like a forty years old man. If he really has a wife in Mezro, he should be at least one hundred years old."
Felix will set up his thing and immediately got to bed, eating those snakes almost killed him. As he's laying down he will think back to his employers and Xandala "He must have done something, think what was it, they needed him for something. He mentioned his wife but no daughter so I can assume she isn't his real daughter. What could it be?" Felix will sleep the rest of the night.
"You don't necessarily have to, Oniss. Mezro is the sacred city of Ubtao, raising near the mouth of River Olung. If we go there, we see only ruins, patrolled by mercenaries from Baldur's Gate. In truth, Mezro is somewhere else, I am determined to return there."
Gertrude sighs. Her head is still spinning. She sits down for her rest. "I agree with Artur. We can help Musharib and Inete and then head to Omu. Having Artur and Dragonbait scout would be helpful and reduce the time we're running headless through the jungle." But then she wonders... Is there a reason why they want to be in Omu alone first?
Tonight's rest is probably the safest since when the intrepid adventurers left Port Nynazaru. The day after, the air is quite humid, almost foreshadowing a torrential rain.
Artus Cimber leads the party deep into the jungle. Trusted or not, the human is still a valid ally, seemingly knowing every path to speed up the expedition. The party almost covered in one day twice as much distance they would have done normally.
The second day since the visit in Orolunga is signed by a considerable stop to the tremendous rain. Fresh water, but less mileage.
The third day is signed but wonder and danger in equal measure. Finally, the party get to see one. Its presence is firstly announced by tremors in the ground. Then the shacking of the trees which, although huge, must bow to the behemoth nonetheless. Dragonbait emanates a strong smell of violets. Artus brings the index finger to the lips in sign of silence. There, 300 yards away a Tyrannosaurus Rex reveals himself in all its hugeness.
OOC The T-rex is still not aware of your presence. A Stealth check is needed to avoid being seen. The Survival proficiency can grant advantage on the Stealth check.

Gertrude stops in her tracks. Even though she knows that this beast could probably bite each on their heads off in just one movement, she marvels at his beauty. Standing tall above the trees she watches this majestic hunter in awe. Then she slides sideways and hides in the undergrowth behind a very big and strong tree. Then Gertrude looks over to Musharib."Hey, Mushy, can you please do your 'thing'? The one that makes people more stealthy?"
