Like a moth to a flame, Irommek starting taking off his heavy armor and preparing his hempen rope into a laso.  He saw a barbarian horseman once swing it over his head, toss it and tighten it around a wild horse.  If he could get on its back, it couldn’t me that much harder than taming a pony, could it?

"Kurma, you know how to talk smoothing words to beasties.  Get it’s attention and I’ll flank it and snag it with my rope.  If we can tame it, it’ll make for a fantastic mount and help carry some of the gear.  Maybe try to communicate to it that we’ll help care for her lil’ beasties as well…"

Kurma could see that there was a slightly crazed but determined look in the dwarf’s eye.

Felix sighs seeing Irommek in a crazed going after the triceratops. "Maybe a faster dinosaurs would be better than going after this brute and her young ones."

"Rust and tarnish!  I’m afraid that both of you are right.  We’ll keep looking for a beastie for me to tame that doesn’t have wee ones."

Donning his gear he looked up at Gertrude and smiled. 

"I would even ride a big fish or a crocodile at this point.  If we don’t find any water by the time we finish with Omu, then you, me, some fine ale and that new trident of yours are heading to the shore of this strange island!"

Secretly, Kurma always wanted to ride dinosaur. In fact he was a bit sad to have missed the dino race in the city a while ago, this could be fun.

Finally on the third day (day 35 from the beginning of the adventure) after the encounter with the triceratops-mama, Irommek, with his magic compass, determines that the party is half-mile away from the supposed location of the shipwreck.

 As Irommek mentions the shipwreck is close, Felix will continue to keep his eyes open looking for the wreckage.

Perception: 26

The wreck is easy to spot from 200 feet, as it is easy to see 8 foul creatures lurking in the foliage below the shipwreck.

A wooden vessel is caught high in the tree branches, broken into three chunks. It resembles a ship, but there are differences that mark it clearly as not a seagoing vessel. The stern is the lowest piece, hanging precariously by its rigging about 50 feet above ground. The middle section appears to be 15 feet higher, and the bow section is firmly wedged into a nest of branches another 10 feet above that.

A weak voice calls out, “Hallo, on the ground. Can you help us?”

[Can Felix see where the voice is coming from with a passive perception of 16?]

Felix will look around for the voice and begin to take out some rope out of his pack. In a low voice he will speak to Artus and the group "Here's some rope, my bow won't be able to make it pass 80ft. I can tie it to an arrow and we can have a way to climb up. Or should we go after the creatures first either way it doesn't matter to me."

Gertrude is trying to find out what those foul creatures are. And where they are.  (perception 22)

Suddenly she hears a voice calling out for help. More than 35 days and there might be a survivor? She is not calling back until the creatures on the ground are identified.

Felix nod "Well Musharib, if you could bless us with your charm so we can ambush them." After the charm Felix will stealth into position.

Nodding to Felix, Irommek turns to Musharib.

“Oh yeah!  Do your thing brother.  I’ve been itching to hit something since we lost the Goblin Queen.  Let’s clear the area of those smelly abominations and then see if we can recover some good loot and maybe some bug repellent from the ship!”

Musharib: " Fiuuuhuuhuhhu...". Shadowy spirits gather around the party.

Dragonbait smells like baked bread, as he draws his big sword.

OOC Everyone gains a +10 bonus on Stealth.

Stealth: 21+10= 31

Felix will wait until everyone is ready then start the attack.
