Irommek subconsciously runs his fingers through his beard as he looks at the wall. Taking out his navigation gear, he marks the locations of the dark tiles on a make-shift map and then crawls back through the tunnel. Walking around the room with the pedestal, Irommek tries to match up the tiles with the room to see if there is anything in the areas where the dark tiles coincide to.
Irommek utters a string of curses in Dwarven and then a quick apology to Valkauna, not knowing if his new relationship to the deity includes cleaning up his language. Crawling back through the tunnel he joins his friends. Looking down again at the map he looks up at the wall and then walks over to the opposite wall and begins testing the areas of the wall that coincide with the dark tiles, pushing, feeling for inconsistencies and looking to see if Oniss' torch casts any strange shadows on the areas.
Fairly confident now that Valkauna is a "cool" goddess, he lets loose with another stream of Dwarven curses and orders up some ale from the alchemy jug. Sitting down heavily on the ground in the small antechamber, he guzzles a little and then offers some to his colleagues.
"I'm beginning to dislike this bird. Any other ideas?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Gertrude stands outside the crawlway. She paces restlessly. Even though she has no idea what everyone is looking at, she shouts suggestions:
"Maybe press the darker tiles? Or maybe Irommek can hold up a piece of paper and cut out the location of the darker tiles. Maybe then we can hold up the paper inside the main room with a torch behind it and it'll illuminate something on the far wall? Maybe cover all the dark tiles and shine a torch on the lighter ones?" Her suggestions just keep coming. Some more, some less doable.
Gertrude stops her rambling and pacing and looks at Kurma. "What? What did you say? Ohhh, I would say the eyes of the statue!"Gertrude walks behind the first statue and covers its eyes.

OOC: Investigation check? (16)
Irommek finds no match between the tiles and the room layout.

Nothing of inconsistent is on the opposite wall, not are there any strange shadow.

Kurma goes back in the first room with the sort of block. « I must have missed something. ". Anything out of the ordinary ?

"My gut feeling is that it’s all about shadows, since we opened the secret door with shadow.
Did we try to cast a shadow on the pedestal itself ?"

Coincidentally, the number of tiles is equal to the number of letters of the riddle on the pedestal.
Kurma suddenly remember of how he was sending secret messages to his best friend when he was young "This looks like a code to me..."
"C.O.V.E.R.E.Y.E.S .... hummm interesting. So.... I say either we cover the eyes of the statues... or we cover our eyes ??"

Gertrude begins to blindfold one statue, then the others and finally...
"Gods, why can't there just be a riddle that says (Here you go the key you need is here) I mean really cover eyes... Well whatever you guys ready?"
