A full moon is carved on the ceiling here, directly above the pool. The walls are decorated with reliefs of the Omuan people carrying out daily chores.
The ceiling reflected in the pool doesn’t show a moon carving, but rather a sun carving.
Seeing Irommek disappear Oniss gives pause and follows him into the pool. Par of of curiosity and part out of concern for his companion.
Oniss walks to the center of the pool plugging his nose.
Oniss follows Irommek through the pool/portal to the other room.

Gertrude follows Irommek, Oniss and Kurma through the pool into the room of opposites.
She looks again at all the reliefs and walks closer to the door. She'll check if there are any traps on the door (investigation 12) and then try to open it slowly (and stealthily - stealth 11) if she thinks it's not trapped.
Gertrude does notice one of the figures represented in the carvings holding a key, which, in turn is a carving on the wall as well.
In the next room, the central one in the shrine, there is no one... alive.
Eight torches illuminate this room. The light washes over a floor mosaic showing two creatures locked in combat: a small bear with sharp claws and a rabbit with a spiral horn on its forehead. In the middle of the room, a robed figure stands next to a waist-high pedestal, atop which rests a stone cube. The figure is bald and has one hand on the cube. It takes a moment to realize that the figure is a statue.
"Well, there's a red wizard that got what he deserved. However, I don't want to end up in the same state. Any ideas on how we can take the cube without turning into a target for a pickaxe?"
"Hummm, be careful my friends. The cube is as usual magical, but the whole place vibrates with magic. I cannot say where the danger is coming from..."
After thinking a few minutes, Kurma adds: "Well it seems that through the well we passed from the sun to the moon. Do you think we should extinguish the torches ? I mean, having the torches on didn't seem to help this poor lad", pointing out the statue.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Gertrude looks at Kurma. "Well, I won't be able to see in the dark. Maybe Irommek or Brunella can reach for the cube? But this really seems a bit too dangerous. Maybe there's another way of trying it out? Or any other ideas before we all get petrified? I did see a key earlier on the relief..."
Gertrude looks from the distance if she can see a keyhole 1 (investigation). She strains her eyes, but the flickering light from the torches just plays with her mind.
Kurma is thinking on how to keep the group safe from harm.
"well, since I have a charm against petrification, I’m going to step back into the pool room. Gertrude, I’m not sure but if you have the same charm I would recommend to give it to me or leave it on the floor. "
then turning to Iromekk or Inete if she is here: "and before touching anything, a prayer of blessing could be useful. Unfortunately, I haven’t prepare this spell. Does one of you knows it?"
Gertrude looks at Musharib, then just sits down on the floor like a pouting child. "I give up. I grew up fighting. The bigger the monster, the better! How am I supposed to find out a way to remove a cube without being turned to stone? My brain hurts."She motions to Irommek and Felix to hand over the jug with some ale.
Irommek dives into the pool and...he disappears.
OOG For Irommek

Somewhere else, an old dwarf is talking to himself.
For anyone who makes it to Irommek:
"I made it! Um, guys?...Well, I hope they follow soon. I have no idea how to get back."
Irommek emerges from the pool and looks around the mirrored chamber.
Seeing Irommek disappear Oniss gives pause and follows him into the pool. Par of of curiosity and part out of concern for his companion.
Oniss walks to the center of the pool plugging his nose.

Unnerved by the statue Oniss looks to see if it is in fact a carved statue or someone stuck with a petrify spell?

To Oniss, the statute looks too real to be handcrafted. This is most likely a person affected by pietrification.
Looking more closely, the robe, the bald head... Is he a Red Wizard?
Irommek snorts.
"Well, there's a red wizard that got what he deserved. However, I don't want to end up in the same state. Any ideas on how we can take the cube without turning into a target for a pickaxe?"

"Yeah... honestly don't want to get wet right know... any of you plan on joining them?" Felix questioned Burnella and the others.
Felix Windfall(Human-V Lv.7 Rogue) killed in ToA, Vallan Houndstrider (Halfling Ghostwise Lv.1 Fighter) in DiAKurma detects the abjuration aura from the puzzle cube, but the entire chamber itself is faintly magical, with a not defined school.
