Gertrude watches the golem fall down into the darkness of the tomb. "This one is not coming back for a while."Then she dusts off her hands and walks back to Kurma. "I think, I could use this staff. I won't use it for magic, but it looks like a good weapon to separate the heads from the bodies of these undeads."
Gertrude is eager to move on and find a place to rest and look at her new staff. "Let's check out that room." She nods towards the end of the hallway.

"Amazing Gertrude ! Pure strength is sometime the answer... Well this one will come back. We can either go on int he skeleton room now or go back up on the first level and have a short rest close to the entrance door. I know that Gertrude would like to attune to her new weapon.. What do you think?
Kurma is looking at the weird mask that didn't show any magical properties. "I'll try something. The group needs a bit of a laugh". He then place the mask on his face and try to spook Felix...
OOC: did I have time to cast identify on the ink pot before the golem arrived ?
Irommek continues to follow along with the group tensing at the construct, sighing heavily in relief when it falls over the balcony and chuckling under his beard when Kruma dons the mask. In the back of his mind though, he is trying to remember the taste of a cold beer and the feel of a warm bed...'Ach, it sucks getting old...but it's better than the alternative.'
Gertrude feels that they need to enter - and clear - the room at the end of the hallway before that monster construct can make its way back up. So she tells everyone to get ready and slowly walks into the room ... her weapon at the ready.
OOC: Do the skeletons looks different from the "usual" type of skeletons ?
OOC They seem usual skeletons, but they have headwear embedded in the top side of the skull. One skeleton has a triangle-shaped headwear, the other is octagon-shaped.
"These skeletons, skittering about. They either are expect us to chase them, a trap perhaps, or they are actively avoiding us so they may have something we need?"
Gertrude walks past her allies, then runs up to the construct, and tries to push him off the balcony. [athletics check: 9]

With a loud thud, the Golem falls on one of the levels below. The lowest level must be about 50 feet down from the second level.

As Gertrude steps into the room, the two skeleton retreat to the eastern wall.
The sunlight keeps shining on the coffin, which does... nothing.
Artus and Inete walk beside Gertrude. Inete: "I have never seen skeletons acting like this. They usually... attack. Not sure what this could mean."
Artus: "It is possible they have specific instructions from their creator. The reason? Your guess is as good as mine."
Brunella follows into the room.

Kurma remembers the plate saying " The dead abhor sunlight", and then consult his orb of time.
If this is direct sunlight, that's probably helping us, keeping undead at bay. Then, I wouldn't want to be here at night..."

Felix Windfall(Human-V Lv.7 Rogue) killed in ToA, Vallan Houndstrider (Halfling Ghostwise Lv.1 Fighter) in DiAThe coffin seems perfectly sealed, despite seeing no lock or sealing mechanism. The cover is firmly stuck on the base.
The gargoyles seem just harmless statues. Behind each gargoyle head, an airtight stone valve blocks a crawlway.
