Irommek suddenly burst out into a long, crazed laugh. Regaining his composure, he nudged Gertrude and smiled up at her.
"Not that I'm laughing at our situation or your exploding necklace, but I feel a dragon's hoard better about not being the only one to set off a trap that put us all into peril! Now grab your greataxe and let's crack some bones!"
With another maniacal laugh, Irommek pulled his hammer and started swinging Dwarf's Kiss to warm up.
Gertrude looks down at the crazed dwarf. He's right. It does feel a lot better when others also step into misfortune. But Kurma going missing? How would they ever get him back? After only a second of relieve, the worries set in again, stronger than before.
She nods at Irommek and swings her powerful Staff of Striking.
Kurma's stomach feels like it has been moved upside down a thousand time. This new place is strange but Kurma guesses that he is now inside the mural. "Great, not exactly what I was expecting.." He shouts "Can someone hear me?!" ... "Moa, are you here? Any wise help?"

Gertrude looks around at the overpowering might of their foes. Worried about Kurma, her rage sizzles up quicker inside her than usually.
Still, with her inner senses, she tries to remember specific vulnerabilities of these skeleton creatures. [adv on Survival with Hunter's Bane if DM allows: 14 ]
A lightning arc hits the first enemy. 3 [DEX DC 14, half damage on success]
Then she swings her staff against the same enemy twice:

A lightning arc hits the first enemy. 6 [DEX DC 14, half damage on success]
Then she swings her staff against the same enemy twice:
to hit 11 for damage 14
to hit 29 for damage 16
The first swing falls way short, but the second hit the skeleton in the face... or, to better put it, the skull.
And that hit confirms Gertrude's knowledge: these skeletons, as well as others, are vulnerable to bludgeons.
Brunella, unaware of the skeleton's vulnerabilities, brings her rage and charges the injured skeleton. She attacks twice, hitting another skeleton if the first attack should finish it off. She attacks recklessly, attempting to bring down the horde before they can hurt her allies.
Brunella Wildheart attacks with a Flame Tongue Longsword 2H!
When Gertrude feels the skeleton bones crack easily under her staff, she knows she needs to tell her friends:
"These things are just like any other skeletons, they're vulnerable to bludgeoning weapons! I have a warhammer on my backpack, just grab it off it whoever wants it!"
Smiling, Irommek tightens the grip on his hammer but then feels a calm that can only come from the divine. Stepping more into the center of the room, Irommek held out his hammer and called upon Valkauna.
"Mistress of the battlefield and shepherd of souls, help us cleanse these walking bones and grant my hammer the power to crush those that won't turn away to ash!"
A golden flash, the color of citrine, washed over the room and the smell of wheat beer rose into the air.
The faith of the old dwarf manages to turn five of the nine remaining minotaur skeletons into a frightened bunch of running bones. The ones who resisted the divine influence charge ahead, engaging the adventures in a dire fight.

The kind saurial gets hit in full by the charge of the skeleton and fins himself flying 10 feet backwards. However this represents only a minor setback for Dragonbait. He shakes off the wound and the dust and charges back, the magnificent longsword shining even brighter.
The maze leads through several intersections and dead ends. Heavy steps coming from somewhere else in the maze tell that the good tortle is not alone. Someone or something is hunting.
But there, on the ground in the middle a intersection lied a red crystal key.
