Doubting that these giants have the attention to detail required to set a trap, Afamrail nonetheless still examines the door handle and lock for any traps.

if he finds none, he makes sure the rest are ready to go and then he pushes the door open and looks inside.
The room is oddly shaped, with the main room to the east with two hallways where the door opens, with one hallway going north that leads to double doors and a single door on the left side., or another hallway going to the west that leads to another set of double doors.
The main has two tables with chairs and stools surrounding them, with a fireplace in the middle east wall. There is a double door in the south wall of the room.
Afamrail doesn’t know how much longer their luck will hold. How many can say they have had essentially free reign in a giant stronghold like they have? If it wasn’t for what Tana saw in the kitchen and the loud celebrating in what must be the main hall this place is deserted.
Don’t forget about those claw noises they heard from the outside, he reminds himself. There are large animals still in here somewhere.
Looking around, there appear to be four doors, double or single.
”We should cover ground quickly now. I think we should divide up and listen to each door and someone should check that fireplace too. I’ll take the double doors in the south wall to listen to.”
Afamrail crosses the room quickly and listens at those doors on the south wall.

"I'll check the main room and the fireplace."
Raine mutters an incantation and traces invisible runes in the air with her fingers, casting Detect Magic. She makes a pass around the room, seeing if she notices anything, then visually examines the fireplace and mantle for anything odd.
Tana seems rather unsettled about the whole ordeal. It’s not common for Giants to infest such a large and elaborate place without lumbering around - he deeply worries they’re somehow in a trap.
Regardless, he says to the group; “I’m a fan of splitting up, but investigation is not my skill. I will keep guard at this door Incase anything happens.” And promptly assumed a position in front of the door they just entered through, wearily gripping the greataxe he’s been lugging around the entire time.

Afamrail, sighs when he sees the polar bear roar in the room in front of him. I did just remind myself that there were large animals on the loose in here somewhere, he thinks.
Being the least capable of the party to stand toe-to-toe with a polar bear, clearing out of the way seems like the most logical step to take.
In a flash, Afamrail leaps back to the fireplace and as he nocks an arrow into the string of his longbow, he positions his body to hide as much of it as possible behind the mantle and side of the fireplace.
(OOC: Afamrail is going to use his action to Disengage and retreat from the doorway, and then use his Cunning Action bonus action to Hide by the fireplace to set himself up for advantage on the next turn so he can use Sneak Attack: Stealth Check for Hide: 25 )
