He will drop the torch in a way that will hopefully allow it to stay lit, without setting anything on fire (It’s fine if they torch goes out when he drops it. I understand that is a logical thing to happen). Then, Alton will draw his second Shortsword.
After, He will try to slink into the room up against the wall and just move against the wall as far as his movement (25 feet). This is all in an attempt to be unnoticed and surprise them next round.
Alton, you drop the torch in the hallway. It seems to be still smoldering away, and will likely stay lit for 10 minutes on the floor. There is nothing around it, and the floor in the hallway is made of stone, so there are no fire hazards either.
You attempt to slink into the room, scooting underneath Vendovar's legs and then on the coat tales of Thorvin. You manage to stay close enough to the wall... that is not the problem. The problem is when your second short sword bangs into the desk. It gets the attention of both the skeleton and the spider (passive perception 9 and 10 beat your 8), and so they both see you in plain sight, backed against the wall. (let me know if you meant the north wall instead of the east wall and I will move your token)
"I guess we aren't doing negotiations, then." Venovar will move 5 squares west and 1 square northwest, throw one of his javelins at the Skeleton Wizard, and then duck down behind cover.

(I just realized, I've been misspelling Venovar's name... you should've said something! I had in my head Vendovar and have been saying it in my mind like that since we started. Apologies!)
Venovar, as you move forward, you slightly stumble just as you release the javelin, and it flies wide of the skeleton and clanks off the wall and settles on the floor. You then nestle in between the bookshelves and cabinet and crouch down. You are still visible to the enemies... I'd say Venovar has half cover.
Next, the giant spider, noticing the halfling moving about against the wall, tries to shoot a web at it to make it stop moving: (this is at disadvantage as the distance is beyond the attack's first range, but within its max range.) 13

Alton will continue to slink up the wall, hiding behind furniture for cover if possible. Once he has moved his complete 25 feet, he will produce a dagger and throw it at the spider (only if within 20 feet). He has advantage because the spider is restrained, and the advantage in turn gives him sneak attack.

Alton, you slink around the furniture, keeping against the wall as much as possible. The creatures know you are there, but you're definitely small enough to be able to crouch behind a smaller desk at the end of your movement, which provides you with half cover. Your dagger goes wide of the spider, clanks off the west wall and falls behind the skeleton's desk.
Venovar, you launch from cover and head to the west wall. You thrust your weapon, it pierces through the air and collides with the skeleton, ripping its red robes and smashing its sternum to pieces. The exploding bones make the skeleton stumble and it bumps into its desk, almost falling over. (-8hp)
The giant spider, becoming quite frantic now, attempts to rip its legs from the tangling vines: STR -> 15 and it succeeds. The legs rip apart the vines and it starts to vibrate and chitter loudly. It's upset. (the green square is still considered 'difficult terrain')
Gotur is up, and Thorvin can queue up their next round move.

Gotur runs to the edge of the table in the middle of the room (3 west, 1 south), fingers curling as he cries out, extending his staff towards the skele-wiz, the thorny vine lashing from the end and attempting to snag the wizard and slam him into the far edge of the table (pull 10 ft). After his spell goes off, Gotur ducks behind the table for what cover that may provide.
Gotur, everything happens exactly as you've described. When the skeleton hits the table, its body completely falls apart, with some of its larger bones shattering in many little pieces. It falls to the floor, with the red robe covering it like a blanket. (skeleton wizard is dead).
You then drop your large body down to the ground, and the bulky desk surprisingly covers a lot of your lower parts. (half cover).
