"I have some spare heavy blankets in the attic, just in case anybody needed to come over. I'll go get them." Venovar goes up to the attic, grabs one, and comes back down.
Thorvin, you take a look around the rooms of the house. You'd think you had been here before because you knew exactly where to go to gather a large heavy blanket that Ven's mom had in a closet. It is basically an oversized quilt, and it will easily wrap Ven's mom and also not look super sketchy when transporting it in the cart which Venovar explained he had.
Venovar, you take your moment and do exactly as you've described with your proceedings outside. You make your pledge. Once you return, as everyone gently wraps up the body, you place the single daisy down and while this has been quite traumatic and tragic, in this moment you feel peace knowing your mother is not suffering. And also having the potential for her to be brought back to life. Since Thorvin was able to get a quilt, you don't head to the attic.
Gotur, you're easily able to change into a horse behind Ven's house in the yard. There's lots of trees which provide nice cover. poof! Got-horse is made.
Ok... Ven's mom is wrapped up and loaded on the cart. Got-horse is all set to go and is hooked up to the cart. With Thorvin's solid rolls finding the quilt which perfectly covers the body, it's not going to be difficult getting the body to the temple without issues. The DC has been significantly lowered. That being said, a successful roll of some type will still need to be made to avoid an encounter of some kind. Everyone, please make a deception. I will take the highest roll and bump it against the DC to determine what happens as you set out towards the temple. It is high noon, right now.
Got-horse looks the part, which is fortunate, if he had to play it cool as a half orc transporting a freshly dead mombie, he'd probably get pretty jumpy.

Ok, you are able to successfully transport Ven's mom through the city and to the temple of Oghma without any encounters from the city folk. Thorvin, you saw a little elf boy come up to the cart and it seemed he might try and take a peek, but at the moment he came to the cart, his mother was calling out for him, and so he scurried away without incident. Got-horse lets out a powerful "neeeiiggghhhh" as you reach the temple. (I assume you change back to Gotur form upon arrival, yes?)
The priestess greets you all once you arrive. To move things along, we will assume one or all of you explain to her about Ven's mom and how you transported her body here. The priestess was expecting you thanks to Thorvin and Alton from before, so this isn't an issue at all. She summons some guards to help (very gently) with the body as they move it to one of the smaller tombs below the temple.
The priestess sighs, and speaks to you all, but mostly looks at Venovar. "What a tragedy. The city needs to do something about this undead problem. Anyhow, we will keep her body safe and secure here. Again, I wish there was something more I could do about the price of the magic. I need to ensure the temple is maintained and these funds will help. We will keep her body safe here until you return."
She reminds you that it's 150g for raise dead, 200g for resurrection. If you get the funds in less than 10 days, then raise dead will work. If not, you'll have to come up with 200 for resurrection.
You are free to speak with the priestess - otherwise, what is next? Back to the sewers? Or perhaps seek out that halfling professor (Madam professor Winsome Landy) at the Spring Shoot Inn? Or try and sell items to get enough money? Or, something else entirely? (might as well keep the open concept of the game going... look what happened with Ven's mom, we created an adventure out of nothing! So, have at it.)
It is 1:30pm. Took some time to load/unload Ven's mom, and then the trip itself.
Thorvin will ask the priestess about the spellbook with magic missal, sleep, & charm person. would they accept as payment or where the best place in the city to sell it.
Thorvin, the priestess takes a good look at the spellbook. "My friend, this spellbook, while not useful here, will get you a good amount of coin at any of the mage shops in town. There is actually one just a quick jaunt down the south road from here. 5 or 10 minutes even. I imagine you could get a least 100 gold for those 3 scripted spells."
((ah yes that's right, ok perfect Gotur is back to half-orc form)
“Well thank you for all the help,” Alton says to the priestess. “But I think our next course of action will be raising the gold, so we must now take our leave. Thank you for your time and help.”
Then, as the party walks out of the temple, he show them the potions that he believes hold some monetary value.
He reassures Venovar. “We can do this! We can raise the funds.”
The city is bustling with activity right now, with various shops and markets operating on this beautiful day. It's early afternoon. Since you have a map of the city, it is clear where you might be able to barter the potions as well as the spell book. One shop in particular, the Wizard's Wares, would be a location where one of you, with help if need be, could attempt to sell the potions and the book.
You won't know what type of person/race/class the owner of the shop is until you get in there, whoever goes in. All or some of you can go in.
We will pause here until Venovar has a chance to play a move and respond to the priestess (absolutely no rush though!!).
"Sorry, took me a moment to get out of horse mode. I'm no good at haggling, though if the shopkeep is trying to take you for a ride, I might be able to sniff that out."

"Thank you for your help, priestess." He then looks at everyone else. "I can aid in convincing the shopkeeper for a lower price. I am pretty persuasive, if I do say so myself. First, how much money do we have already?" He shows them what money he has: 35 gp
