((Cool! So, that damage then would've been the half of nine (4) then, yes?))
Gotur, the rootless burst forth and shake the ground. (ground will now be difficult terrain as it's loose-ish)
Creep 19 Dog checks are at disadvantage because it's sunny out. Dog 1 19 Dog 2 14
The Creep and dog1 all take the damage and are prone. Creep takes the full 7. Question - would that specific bludgeoning damage be magical? For this spell, I can see both sides of it. Would love to hear your opinion.
Anyhow - the creep and dog 1 take that damage and are prone. Hey question, that bludgeoning damage from that spell, would that specific damage be magical? I could see it going both ways. Is the bludgeoning damage from the fall? Or from stuff flying up and hitting them? Perhaps either way this might be non-magical even though it is a spell that caused it. Thoughts?
((The SA die only totaled 3, the 9 included +4 DEX, so it would be 6 halved to 3.))
((I read it as magical, because it's from a spell, and nothing in the spell says it's not magical. I've included a link to a rpg stack exchange post, where they say it's magical and also point out that if the resistance is vs weapons, then spells get around that already.))

((I also see some arguments that go the other way in that link, and in this case, the resistance the dogs have is specifically to the damage type, not vs. a specific weapon induced damage. That being said, after looking at the link you sent, I really think this statement makes it clear that the damage is magical regardless of how the spell happens.))
spell attacks deal spell damage unless explicitly stated otherwise (even if its bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing)
((thank you again! So that dog also takes the 7.))
Ralf decides to send more guided magic shovels at each of the targets. (2nd level again) Creep 4 Dog 1 4 Dog 2 2 Dog 3 2
Nice!! Got-odile emerges! (upon his turn though, right? After Alton? And that would essentially take his turn. Or does that feature allow you to wildshape immediately when you come back?)
Alton is up! I won't update the map until someone moves and also will add in Got-odile.
((That'll be his action on his turn. He's not the kind of druid that can wild shape as a bonus action, so think he might just be distracting them and hoping the other two finish the job before the creep finishes him...))
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(Sorry!)
Alton takes two more strikes against the shadowy dog nearest to him with his shortswords. Mori is still giving advantage, so sneak attack still applies (will roll it separately this time).
Attack: 23 Damage: 8
Attack: 20 Damage: 7
Sneak Attack: 5
(Wow! Whopping total of 12 non magical piercing damage)
(it's no problem! I will try and get through this as quick as I can so we can get these guys home!)
Alton, your swords flash in the air and strike the odd looking #3 dog quite solidly but again it seems the beasts don't take as much of the damage as a regular dog would. (Thanks for splitting up the rolls!) (-6)
Next round: Gotur, Ralf, Creep, Creep's dogs, Mori, Alton
Got-odile emerges!
Ralf now sees the imminent danger that that little creep possesses with its blades, but also sees it might be close to falling, and this time sends 2 flying shovels at the little creep to make sure it gets killed, and 1 at the dog that is attacking Alton. He would send the 2nd one at the dog should #1 kill the creep.
245
the first shovel slams into the creep and it falls to the ground, dead. The other 2 shovels hit dog #3.

Alton, you get better grips on your weapons this go, and really cut into the beast. It howls out and falls dead.
((this combat round has been a rough go for the DM - those dogs do not get their resistance when they are in the sun, just like they get the disadvantage with the attacks. I'm really sorry!))
Next round: Got-odile, Ralf, Creep's dogs, Mori, Alton
The huge croc clamps down hard on the weaker dog 1 (-10). ((I think that is an auto-grapple! It will try to escape on its turn if it is alive.))
Ralf sends 3 flying shovels at the dog #1 that got-odile has in its mouth. If one of them kills he would direct it to the remaining one. 245
((Sneak attack can apply to the one that hits!))
Gotur slams his staff into the ground, rootlets bursting out and shaking the terrain for 10 ft around him.
The creep and his two dogs need to make a DC 13 Dex Save or take 7 bludgeoning and be knocked prone.

I could've sworn I wrote more in that post.

The creep stands up from being prone and tries to swing its sickle at Gotur with those three quick slashes.
Attack: 21 Damage: 9
Attack: 26 Damage: 7
Attack: 26 Damage: 13
The first and the last one hit (correct?), and the half-orc's blood flies. (-17)
Dog 1 and 2 bite at Gotur at disadvantage: Attack: 21 Damage: 15 Attack: 7 Damage: 9
(I think that KO's Gotur, correct?)
Dog 3 bites at Alton: Attack: 22 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll. and misses as Alton easily moves out of the way.
Mori is continuing to help Alton.
Gotur, Ralf, Creep, Creep's dogs, Mori, Alton
Alton is up!
(sorry I am likely botting Ralf very poorly.)
((Probably better for him to focus down on one (little creep?), to get it out of the fight, than to spread it around and leave them up.))
The little creeps, fast blade is slashing at Gotur...
Con: 3
Con: 22
... and the barky covering fades from the big half orc's form as the gets chomped by a dog.
He bellows in pain, but grits his teeth...
Gotur drops to all fours and elongates, growing a toothy maw, long tail and tough scales as he becomes Got-odile.

(starting a new post to not mess up the rolls)
Dog 1 and 2 try to bite at the big croc again affected by the sunlight: Attack: 8 Damage: 9 Attack: 9 Damage: 9
Dog 3 continues to try and nip at Alton: Attack: 23 Damage: 9
All of the dogs miss. They really hate the sunlight.....
Mori continues to perch on Alton's shoulder.
Alton is up!

And it takes all of the shovels, but the dog that got-odile had in its mouth gets nailed by all of them and dies in the reptile's mouth.
The remaining dog tries desperately to bite at the croc: Attack: 15 Damage: 10
And the tough skin of the croc protects it from damage.
Mori stays on Alton.
Alton is up! No damage resistances for the dog :)
Map is updated.
