(OOC Dale was in combat with Goblin 6 so pretty close. Wouldn't Dale get an attack of opportunity if Goblin 6 broke combat unless he pulled some slick disengage move?)

"I might not be the smartest axe in the armoury, but even if we did kill this supposed bugbear you mention, why should we trust that you'd keep your word?"

Darius spat on the ground. He'd been prepared to simply tell the goblin where he could shove his deal... but waited to see his response to the others first.

The goblin points to the path you just went through. "Go over the bridge and follow the stairs up."

He couldn't hold it in any more. With a scoff, Darius rolled his eyes, then snapped, "What sort of fools do you take us for? We're not leaving without our mate, since we clearly can't trust you to not run off with him. So how's about you let him go FIRST... then we talk?"

Alton just remains quiet. Diplomacy was not his strong suit, neither was intimidation. ...But... Maybe he can find his way to sneak around the goblin so he can do a full on 'sudden knife to the throat,' approach?

(DM, is there a means for me to possibly sneak around behind the goblin and press a knife to his throat and do the whole "You move except to let this man go, and you die" cinematic thing?
