Pretty sure Leann needs to walk back to the throne, and won't make it this round. What about that opportunity attack for leaving her reach?
There is a fall mechanic that i used to get the monks to the floor. That's why they had almost no hp left. I believe 10ft is 1d6. Otherwise, the stairs are an option. Leann was 10ft from the bone devil when he moved, so ineligible for aoo (the mezannine is only 10ft wide and the both spaces bwfore the grand master were occupied until Omiy* was destroyed). Omiy* would have been eligible, but was disrupted. The claw is still in reach and being treated mechanically as its own entity. If it left the area, then an aoo would be appropriate, but likewise if Leann takes the stairs, it gets the aoo. If she voluntarily moves away from it by jumping the railing, I think that is also an aoo.
I know these rules are kinda homebrew, but i tried to be tranparent as possible about them at the beginning of the combat. This module creates this situation with the local teleportation fields and earlier with the clockwork kraken tentacles. If there is something in the dmg about how to run this, I havent seen it, but maybe I'll give it another look.
You must have forgotten to move Leann last round then, since she attacked the grandmaster then, which requires her to be within 5 feet of them. So I will roll the opportunity attack here: To hit: 15 Damage: 10
I thought i explained my reasoning, which I think agrees with RAW: Leann moved into the space where Omiy* was, then hit the bone devil, then ended her turn where she began. That is the only way I know of that the melee attack was possible.
As Leann appears beside the throne, she hits the surprised bone devil with a mighty strike, sending a pointy tooth flying across the cathedral.
Players: if you haven't acted since the grand master did, please post actions today.
Sigurd's blade crushes the bone devil's stinger {it is destroyed}. He scowls and slashes at Sigurd and Leann with his gleaming claws. Eyes fixated on the scepter, the crown begins to hum... and spark.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Seeing the strength of her echo wasn't enough to keep the Bone Devil grounded, Omiy bites down on her teeth as the gory sight of fleshy face cape that the Bone Devil wears starts to tear apart in pieces, blood and flesh are splattered everywhere, Omiy swings her sword again in order to stop the Grand Master before he has a chance to flee.
The bone devil somehow manages to dodge Huarache's bullets and Samogri's attacks, but catches a sword to the skull from Leann and a deep cut from Omiy that brings him down.
The crown upon his head ceases to glow as it rolls across the polished floor stopping as it taps the a column near the center of the room. His scepter sits on the arm of the throne, the jewels adorning the hilt shine in the dim light of the Romanesque structure. The devils claws clatter to the ground, the portal rings clanging as they join the one from which the stinger previously emerged, to lay still on the floor, the bony appendages still protruding from them.
<end of combat>
The room is still. One monk is still alive, laying on the floor, his skin-shorn face twitching intermittently as he gradually begins to come to ...
With the final strike the Grand Master finally falls to the ground, lifeless. Omiy's chest rises and falls as she heaved from the combat, steadying her breathing as she spits on Bone Devil's hideous corpse. “Get served in hell.”She curses.
Swinging her sword upon her shoulder, she squats down, resist the nausea and begins to search the Grand Master’s body. Taking the scepter and the teleportation rings on his stingers, and she asks others what they think these things do.
The Winds dropped some swords. Huarache would like to look at those to see what info he can glean. "Has anyone got a pearl on them? Need it for some magical stuff."
Additionally, he will use some rope to hog tie the hands and feet of the monk he spared.
Huarache feels the swords bearing animal and snake themed engravings both have a glow of transmutation magic about them. {require attunement, more details if you spend the time}
The throne is an assemblage of magical-mechanical parts backed by a standing metallic arch set with complex filigree. The armrests of the throne are set with a complicated array of instruments, though many of the controls have been stripped away.
Sigurd notes that many of its instruments are still operational, allowing him to track the comings and goings of the merrenoloth’s ferry.
The crown and scepter are crafted of rare metal alloys and set with jeweled crystalline buttons plundered from the planar craft’s instrument panels.
In removing the rings from the appendages, Omiy would notice the devil's gleaming claws and stinger reappearing inch by inch on his body as she slips the rings from those extremities.
"One of the more impressive bits of technology from the crashed planar craft, teleportation-field devices consist of two matched magical-mechanical rings. Both rings channel the power of teleportation and flight, and were originally used to undertake repairs on the outside of the craft, handle dangerous substances at a distance, and so forth.
When a creature passes an arm or other appendage into one ring, that appendage appears to emerge from the other ring, no matter how far apart the devices are. The second device has a flying speed of 40 feet, and can be flown remotely under the creature’s control as part of its own movement. The remote device also grants the creature a sensory awareness of the area around it. This allows the appendage to be used normally, so that the creature can undertake any activity remotely that it could accomplish close up, including making physical ability checks and attacks."
Omiy, make a perception check.
Sigurd, investigation check.
Leann finds several each of:
Hooked Polearm.Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d6 + 1) piercing damage. If the target is a Medium or smaller creature, it is grappled (escape DC 10). Until this grapple ends, the monk cannot use its polearm on another target.
Elder monks have outfitted their polearms with laser weapons secured from the monastery’s stores of technology. These weapons are notoriously ineffective against polished metal armor and shields, which reflect their laser bolts:
Force Pike.Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft. or range 40/100 ft., one creature. Hit: 7 (1d10 + 2) force damage. The attack has disadvantage against any target with polished metal armor or shield, and has its ranged halved when firing through smoke or fog.
Sigurd notices grooves in the throne console and armrest that would seat the crown and the scepter, respectively. He surmizes that the three are part of a set designed to interact. behind him, the archway is etched with the same irregular right-angle-branching pattern as the throne. IN fact, the pattern is clearly continuous from one to the next. The throne was once the center of the archway. Assuming Sigurd shares this observation with his comrades, anyone may choose to attempt using the objects with an arcana check (DC 15).

Sigurd exhales deeply as his size returns to normal. He gratefully feels the poison dissipate from his body.
He turns to his companions, "Well I suppose that went as well as it could have!"
He looks towards the throne to try to see what the devil was so interested in:
