Leaving the half elf girl behind, yiu oroceed theough the rubble of the destroyed chapel. A path has been cleared through the debris, allowing easy movement to the hidden door. The weapo s embedded in the altar have been removed, perhaps by force, as rhe altar now stands at half its former height, the top half laying in crumbled pieces on the ground nearby.
(You can come back if you want, but I'm moving on.)
Through the Hidden corridor once again, descending down the stairs, you find the three open pits still with bones chained to the walls below.
“Go where you like! You are free.” Says Tetrevess to the girl. If you want you can follow us, just don’t touch that sphere.
He helps with looting, (I mean, repurposing of valuables) using the sphere to disintegrate any stone that is holding gold panels and destroy the pit traps as we go.
<Officially the golem was three days to completion by a skilled artisan. That there half-elf being a skilled artisan, FYI.>
The sphere pretty easily destroys the umber hulk (exo?)skeletons trapped in the second pit. It also reveals more stone in place for several feet into the space behind the doors in the first two pits. The bones in the third pit never animate but the sphere bumping into the door opens a hidden passage beyond.
Up a short flight of stairs and turning right at the landing, following g another you come to a room 40ft long by 10ft wide.
A mithral door is set into the stone of the long wall to your left. It resembles the figure of a flattened tortle, its arms and legs extended to the four corners, and its shell carved with a complete map of the tomb. Its head is turned in profile, its eye set with a gleaming gem

"Before making an omelette, we'll need to break a lot of eggs and kick a few evil hindside in the process"- Gravity will reply to the comment uttered by the ruined raspy voice without knowing the origin of the noise.
When she finds the half-elf girl and Tet wizard discussing about payments, she will lightly push the unsuspecting dude towards the girl, and hopes that the girl may realize where she should go next.
Does Gravity recall something about the flattened tortle? What kind of gem is placed in it's eyes?
It's a ruby. Gravity is aware of various applications of gems in.magic. nothing here soecificslly suggests any oarticular use though. The gem looks R as rhet like a small version of one of the gem eyes from the statue of Moloch.
The half-elf girl looks.puzzled.by Tetrevess' offer as she looks around the room full of gold and silver plates piled high. "Uhhh, tha is. But waht about those fanatics looking for more blood to paint their murals? I heard the prisoner they were draining went missing. If they find me working in this thing, they'll find our about our escape plan and tell Mo.." She pauses.l, and after a moment, composes herself.and continues, "Maybe they'll tell.. someone, or maybe they'll just decide to take care of me themselves. I don't know, but I'd rather not find out."

Gravity is unable to remove the ruby eye. (Mame a DC13 Con save against 18 force damage)
[Ooc: theoretically the tools.in hand could reshape the door, but 5e specifically has proficiency in jeweler's tools as a mechanic; that would be the appropriate tool for removing a jewel. This is a very magic talking door, by the way.]
Upon approaching the door, it asks: "Who is the master?”
(The door resists any conventional attempts to open it)
*detail omitted inadvertently: on approach, the tortle head of the mithral door animates, speaking to those in attendance. Not mechanically important, really, just something I meant to include but missed

Gravity suddenly becomes annoyed by her futile attempt to collect the ruby, and the sense of irritation multiplies when she's injured. She starts throwing erratic punches at the mithral door while screaming at nobody in particular:
"I don't like locked doors! Let me in or I'll dig a hole right through the tortle guard."
<so, while Tetrevess has promised to use the sphere in protecting the half-elf artisan, Gravity is trying to seize control if it? We could resolve that with a contest, or just ask Tetrevess to bore a hole through the talking door, (or the wall beside it for that matter.) Because it's not really a great weapon, but it is a very useful tool.>

(How much more work is the golem? Can we finish it and get a pet? :) )

(Well- if it’s not too late Tetrevess will ask the half elf to finish the golem for a share of treasure!)

Tetrevess says”I’ll pay you, of course, from the treasure we have found here, afterwards you can do what you wish.”

Is it possible to reshape the door to create a blank space?

The party has access to several magical items that can indeed do this... they also have the answer to the question.

Tetrevess says to the half elf- “I’ll protect you while you are working. This sphere is pretty intimidating if not the most effective weapon”
to the door, he says “Acererak?”

Sam looks at his companions then will ask the sword “shine door do you know how to open it” in draconic
The door does not respond to Tetrevess.

“I’ll drill a hole with the sphere,”. Says tetrevess, and he starts carving the frame around the door using it.
