Leann blocks the strike. She then uses her hexblade’s curse on the golem, as her bonus action, then strikes back herself... To hit: 8 Damage: 12 Then she strikes a second time... to hit: 18 Damage: 14
Huarache shoots twice at the golem, backing away as he does so. Echo runs up to Dorian and beckons him onto her back (I believe halflings can use mastiffs as steeds; it shouldn't be an issue for a member of another Small race to ride a Medium doglike creature.
Attack: 13 Damage: 20
Attack: 28 Damage: 27
If Huarache is more than 15 feet from the golem for the entire duration of the round (he is moving away), then he is at disadvantage to hit (alternative to hit values: 10 and 11).

Save vs fairie fire: 14
The additional acid damage is noted
Leann's attacks shake the animated statue considerably, but he doesn't slow his assault.
*Ooc: Huarache:
ToA lists Tabaxi as medium, the Lantan mod not withstanding. Be wherever you want to though, just let me know if you hit or not, or more importantly how far (about) you are from the golem, and if you're near any other PCs. You may have grabbed the spyglass as you ran past, no extra movement needed.
There was kind of a cut scene when the thing came alive and the building crumbled that was not combat time. You were all reset outside the perimeter of the ruined building after that, so wherever you want to be relative to the golem is fine.
Unless Huarache says differently, his attack hits, as do the magic missiles sent by Shutorn, each atyack delivering booming blows ro the stone menace, yet it persists in its relentless attack.
Through the crashing and blasts of the battle, the distant voice of a young woman calls from the trees beyond the far side of the temple, rising in volume as it proceeds through a lengthy monologue in Sylvan, possibly a chant or recitation of some kind. (Does anyone speak Sylvan?)
Ok. Im going to just have Sam use the help action to help whoever goes next.
As the source of the Sylvan echo emerges from the woods, you see she is an Eladrin, surrounded by mechani-magical artifacts and accompanied by her feline familiar.
Roused by the words of the warlock, the tree that stuff once in the center of the temple excruciates itself from the ruins, uprooting itself as its limbs rotate and bend, it's trunk twisting to reveal the face of the treant, awakened from a century of slumber. Seeing the stone behemoth assailing the party, it's expression turns dour.

The treant reaches for one of the many boulders which litter the ground, hurling it at the golem. As it arcs through the air, rhe treant begins taking long strides toward his nemesis.
21 for 27 bludgeoning
The golem uses its slow ability, requiring a DC17 Wid save from Sam, Leann and Huarache. Please see note below.
Note:
Slow: The golem targets one or more creatures it can see within 10 feet of it. Each target must make a DC 17 Wisdom saving throw against this magic.
On a failed save, a target can’t use reactions, its speed is halved, and it can’t make more than one attack on its turn. In addition, the target can take either an action or a bonus action on its turn, not both. These effects last for 1 minute. A target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. This ability effects any creature within 10ft of the golem.
The golem is large (10ftx10ft). Determining the affected parties is challenging by theater of the mind, so if you want to draw my attention to an error in logic, please do so via dm or ooc thread.
My logic is based on Sam stating he stood in front of Leann, who made melee attacks on the creature and Huaraches specific wish to be within 30ft of the golem, the creature's movement speed.
Special note: correction/ clarification. Leann's melee attacks last round did not directly harm the golem, however the additional radiant damage from smite does effect it. Surprsingly, this is the only instance, so far, where damage reduction (or in this case immunity) has come up in this encounter.
Dorian doesn't speak Sylvan, but he's not going to let that stop him. He'll try Elvish, and if that doesn't seem to get through, Common. "Ah, hello! Do you know these two? We were just passing through and stumbled into some trouble here, as it were -- no ill intentions on our part,"he adds his best smile and a little bow.
The Eladrin's words are decidedly neutral, but she is definitely directing a giant tree to attack the thing that's trying to kill you. (edit. Technically it's doing that of its own volition, but she did wake it up.)
On that note... The boulder thrown by the treant strikes true against the grey surface of the golem's head, creating a cacophonous crash as it does so, but the golem seems utterly unphased by this as bits of rubble rain down on the grass.
Ooc: I'll give Sam a bit more time. I've pm'ed him.

extra crit damage on first... 4
plus smite... 11
(Acid splash should be 2d6 -- sorry I'd forgotten to post it, I'll roll the other d6 here: 3)
Dorian will cast Faerie Fire at the golem, again a DC 15 Dex save.

Well, I really hope that he's close enough. Consider that he went for the spyglass. Is he close enough?

Shutorn and Sam are up.
Shutorn backs away from the golem and hits it with a 2nd-level magic missile. 13 force

Hmm. WIS saves are not Huarache's forte.

Well, dang. I guess he's making a single shot, then retrying the save.

Seeing her weapon strikes as doing little to nothing, Leann reverts back to booming blade
To hit: 13 Damage: 7 normal slashing and 6 magical thunder.
Wis save at end of her turn... 20
Shutorn backs even farther away (if possible) and targets the golem with four more magic missile darts. 15 force
The eladrin woman answers in Elvish, "I'll deal with you shortly. For now, this thing has to be shut down."
As she speaks, Shutorn's magic missiles connect and blast more bits of rock from the creature.
*No metal on the stone golem, just animated stone.
Waiting on Sam
