Toh is able to see listen of excited chatter, both in Common and Kobold Draconic. You risk a look and you see a fair few cultists and kobolds distracted over something...

"A bit more wood and that should be alright... You got a light?"

"Fire? Nah, not me. You think they got a little spell or something?"

"Little scrawny things don't know left from right half the time..."

Toh can hear the kobolds are mockingly taking bets to see how long it takes a few humans to start a fire in Draconic. All attentions far from the task on hand...

Toh leans back and whispers. "Four cultists, four little ones. Trying to start a fire. If someone can hit a bunch at once we can likely make short work of them."

 “If only we could breath fire like a dragon.” Jack says seriously.

Their lack of attention rings reads as a prime opportunity! Quietly steeling their ideas, the group burst out and let loose on the completely unware...

Ophelia, you're up!

Ophelia aims her finger at the kobold to the rear of the group (K9), hoping to hit it, and/or the bushes around it.

Cast Fire Bolt

Attack: 22

Damage: 9 fire damage

Toh steps to the side and forward, drawing a large spear instead of a sword and hurling it at one of the front ranks of cultists. (C4)

Attack: 13 Damage: 11.

Jack raises a crossbow to his shoulder and fires it at C4

Attack: 24 Damage: 12 

Kava steps foreward to try and get as many cultists as she can in range, before spewing icy mist from her mouth to freeze them.

Action: Breath Weapon, DC 11 con save or take 11, or half as much on a save

Ophelia's bolt of fire splashes against the kobold. In a flare of orange and gold, a charred heap only remains...

With a mighty throw from Toh, the spear catches itself in the cultists leg with a stifled cry!

Jack's cross bow fires with good aim but lands in the armour of the cultist.

The icy mist billows from Kava, dousing most of the cultist and kobolds with dangerous cold...
Constitution Saving Throws (DC 11):

The mist settles revealing the cultist (C4) and the two kobolds (K3 & K7) deathly still as they're coated in white leayer of ice and exuding cold... The other cultist (C6) manages to shake off chunkes of gathered ice and ready himself as they go in for revenge...

The cultists dash forward revealing crude curved blades and attack the group!
C5 to Toh - Melee Weapon Attack: 18 Damage: 4 (slashing)
C6 to Kava - Melee Weapon Attack: 17 Damage: 4 (slashing)
C7 to Toh - Melee Weapon Attack: 10 Damage: 4 (slashing)
In a flurry of attacks from the cultists, the dragonborn display their exprience in combat and are unhurt.

The remaining kobold goes to assist the cultist for revenge with a dagger!
K1 to Kava - Melee Weapon Attack: 13 Damage: 4 (piercing)
The smaller kobolds sees and opportunity and gets a strike in where Kava was caught off guard!

Kava reaches out to hit on of the cultists as they rush past her.

Reaction: Quarterstaff Attack at C5.
Attack: 19 Damage: 9

Ophelia again points her finger towards the nearest cultist (C5), a mote of fire propelling itself towards them.

Cast Fire Bolt

Attack: 24

Damage: 2 fire damage

Toh steps up to the two cultists and slashes down at the one that won't cause him to get hit by Ophelia's fire. (C7)

Attack: 13 Damage: 12

Jack fires his crossbow at K1 

Attack: 7 Damage: 6 

Kava's are quick, the cultist is quicker as they flinch out the way!

Ophelia's mote of flame claps the cultist to the ground and they remain still...

With choked groan, Toh crushes the cultist with his blade!

Jack's bolt sails off into the night...

Kava, your turn!

Kava turns to the cultist in front of her and goes to hit him with her quarterstaff, followed by an elbow to the chin.

Bonus Action: Unarmed Strike
Attack: 13 Damage: 7

As Kava connects her elbow with cultists chin, the other see a spew of blood and teeth fly from the mouth as they're knocked to the ground!

The kobold sees its comrades fall, it looks to Kava with large eyes, words of kobold Draconic of sparing, forgiveness as it sinks low to the ground in submission... Before slinking off into the night and bushes!

{End of Combat}

A closer inspection to what the cultusts were filling  gaps of the simple wooden door with dry hay. Jugs of lamp oil and unlit torches gathered neaby. M...

How would you like to proceed? 

Toh begins to pull the hay away from the door. "Is anyone in there? We were sent from the keep to look for anyone who needs help." 

Peception Check - Toh: 4

As Toh's voice is head, there's several feet shuffling away, even a few gasps or murmurs of concern.
After a few moments you hear a response, "I-If you are tuly here to help, we want all weapons away. Do you accept?"

"I'll put them away but I'm keeping my hand on the hilt, got it. Incase you haven't noticed the town is under attack and by Bahamut I plan to defend it." 

Jack drops his crossbow
