Hitticus will do what has become his bread and butter. Bonus action telling Bub to attack and swinging his own sword art the one Randrak just got if it's still up, otherwise the other.

With an apologetic glance towards Reggarn Alanis aims at the still glowing Hobgoblin and throws a vial his way.

Randrak you surge forward with a growl gutting the one Hobgoblin and seriously wounding the other. Hitticus you spend your attacks on the first Hobgoblin only to find that the life is already fleeing from its body after Randraks attack. You huff in disappointment as the creature falls to the ground. 

The last hobgoblin snarls and spits raising it blade ready to attack just as you Alanis throw your vial blowing a hole in the creatures chest and bringing it down in a bright flash. 

You all stand there over your defeated enemies. One last wolf left sleeping and oblivious to what has happened. Passages reach of from this chamber to the north and straight ahead to the west. 

What will you do next?

Randrak wipes his bagh nakh on his trousers before turning to the others.

In a whispered town he says, "Looks like we have a couple of choices here. We could either split up to take each of the passages, or we stick together and explore one of the passages at a time. One way might be quicker the other probably safer. Either way I suggest we be quite."

Mercwri will walk up to the sleeping wolf and shove his shortsword into its braincase, through the ear canal, and stir vigorously. "I hate wolves!" he says sharply. Then he will search the area, corpses and etc. for anything of value or interest.

Reggarn will look at the bodies is dissapointment. "I say we stick together."

Randrak looks scornfully at Mercwri as he kills the sleeping wolf, "There was no need to do that."

Mercwri grimly replies, “It wasn’t anybody’s pet puppy, Randrak. It would have torn yer throat out with no second thought. And there was a need to do that, it is one of enemy, who has shown not the slightest mercy so far and, I’ll not have something like that at my back.”

"Practical if gruesome, shall we carry on? I vote we divert north and see what lies that way before continuing our original path." Hitticus face softens suddenly and he says in a different tone and accent "Plus what's life without adventure, eye?" He shakes his head and his face screws up into its usual snobby scowl

"You're right, it wasn't a puppy, but it was doing its masters bidding all the same."

He turns his back on Mercwri before turning his attention to Hitticus.

"Give me a minute, I want to see if I can hear anything coming from either direction. It might help us decide on which path to take."

Mercwri you recover 30 gold coins from the Hobgoblin corpses, but find little else of value here.

Randrak ahead to the west you hear the distant crackle of a fire and the soft splat of drifting water; to the north the passage seems quiet.

"Okay," Randrak says and starts pointing to the north passage. "That way seems rather quiet." Then he begins gesturing to the other passage. "That way, I'm sure I can hear the sounds of a fire, which means that there must at least be someone watching the fire. If not more trying to keep warm or cook.

So we could either sneak to the north and investigate that passage or head straight to the west and deal with whoever we find."

Dvori makes sure that the wolf is put down with a bolt through the head with his crossbow - best not to let the spell end if possible. Joining the rest of the party, he comments on Randrak's findings.

"A fire could mean almost anything - torches for reading, warmth for living quarters, even the lair of the supposed dragon we're going up against here."

"Well, a dragon's fire would be louder for a start. Plus, I don't think a dragon's fire is constant. However, it seems we are agreed that there will be someone down that way."

Uldran steps forward at this point looking from one entrance to the other. "So which way will it be then?"

"I say north, but I shouldn't be trusted." Hit says as he pads toward the quiet hallway

Mercwri says, “Aye, finding out what the noise is about sounds like something we should be doing. Especially here.”

Randrak turns to Mercwri, "The sounds come from the west passage. Do you not pay attention?"

He then turns to Hitticus, "Come on lets go this way."

Randrak then begins heading towards the north passage.
