"Are we sure these aren't who we're looking for?" 

“What price do you require,” Rowan asks.

Cade pauses as he catches the scents of the vampires.  Into each of the group's minds he says... "These are not vampires."  The voice is Cade's normal voice, just in each of the group's minds.

Hearing Cade's warning, Kasian attempts to investigate one of the creatures in front of them to see if he can discern anything unusual

"That seems reasonable, I have that here. " and he will approach whomever was talking to hand them a pouch. 

And when he gets close enough he'll instead try to stab them.
