Renaer returns to their table with wine and snacks. "I don't know anything about it, other than it has ties to my father's alleged money. Dirty money, mind you. I never wanted any part of it. That doesn't stop the criminals from pursuing it though." he says, as he helps himself to the wine, and he starts rubbing at some of the bruises across his body.
Renaer smiles "Floon and I are often confused, as we share an uncanny resemblance. He's quite artistic and just a joy to be around. I enjoy his company; as you may be aware, we often are associated with people who are either just suck-ups or have hidden agenda's. It's tiring. Floon isn't one of those people, so it's refreshing to have a real friend, y'know." Renaer concludes.
You all may take a Short Rest here. By the time the Rest is over, it'll be midnight. How will the party proceed from here?
Jarret fills in Mardak on all that happened while he was out, ending with “And so the plan is to head into the sewers looking for leads on Floon. Are you up for it?”
Jarret also waits for Mardak’s thoughts before making his own decision.
Mardak pays close attention to the quick summary and stands up and swings his arms a bit "Little stiff but i will manage, i still have some left in me for the day!"
-OOC- Mardak is ready to continue on after the short rest!
Renaer nods at Morgan. "I'd love to accompany you, if that's all right. After all, it's because of me that Floon is holed up there in the first place." Renaer grabs his newly acquainted gear and ushers the party to vacate the Skewered Dragon.
Renaer guides the party down the alleyways, looking for any manholes that was near that Zhentarim warehouse. After roughly thirty minutes, they find a sewer cap. It's almost 1 am, and the cold weather is quite unforgiving at this point. Renaer pries the sewer cap open, and leads the party down the ladder. The sewers are moderately organized, as the Dungsweeper's Guild keeps it maintained. They have torches along the walls, approximately every 60 feet to keep the tunnels well lit.
"I do remember them mentioning 'yellow lines'. I suppose if we find these yellow lines, then that will lead us to them." Renaer says as he recalls the information he overheard as he was hogtied in the closet.
Everyone can make a Perception check or Investigation to determine if they can find any clues on the whereabouts of their hideout.
Mardak follows the party into the sewers "Remember me to donate some to the Dungsweepers Guild when we get out of here". Mardak looks around as well for any clue, yellow or otherwise.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Krivnaar continues to be unbothered by the chill, and whispers a silent thanks to his draconic bloodline for that fact while looking around for clues as to the yellow lines or other signs of Zhentarim.

Mardak wakes opens up his eyes slowly and takes a minute to realize where he is. Rubbing his temples Mardak looks at the others.
”I am sorry guys” Mardak gives a sad look to the ground “they surprised me and before i even could react everything went dark”.
Mardak looks at the bartender “can i have an ale?”
Mardak leans back and blinking fast a few times. “I remember the darkness turning into light, encouraging words and then waking up here”.
