Seraph whispers his plan to the party, "Alright, here's the plan: Kell hits a bunch of the ants with one of his spells if he has them. I run in and breathe on as many of them as I can. Yu runs up and hits the ant closest to me and Val puts one of the ant that Yu and I aren't attacking to sleep so we don't have to deal with it for now. If you have any better ideas, I'd like to hear it."

You conjure 1d4 intangible spirits that look like flumphs in unoccupied spaces within 30 feet of you. Each spirit immediately flies 30 feet in a random direction. At the end of your turn, all spirits explode and each creature within 5 feet of one or more of them must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take 2d8 force damage. 2 Yu dashes at the closest giant ant, as he reaches it he brings his battleaxe above his head and swings it down on the ant. (Does 15 hit the ants?) Yu's battleaxe sinks into the ants back and takes 8 damage. As Yu was running at the ant you all see two weird looking things that most of you recall as flumphs, materialize in random places.

Once (Using held action if needed), Seraph runs in to the group of ants. He positions himself to catch as many of the ants as possible and unleashes a wave of freezing energy from his mouth.

Yu charges in and strikes one of the ants. It gives out a startled screech as ichor spurts from from the wound. It slumps to the ground dead.
Sarith dashes alongside with Yu and breathes out a plume of frost that partially freezes the ants just as Kell releases a spell that causes the ants to explosively shatter with a crystalline ring that fills the cavern, sending shards of frozen ant cascading through the room.
Val casts a spell, and a faint shimmer surrounds the ants in back before they collapse into a deep slumber.
Surprise round concluded. Normal initiative will resume. The party goes first before the queen ant.
